Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster tweeted 'I'm ready' Sunday, March 10, the morning following teammate Antonio Brown's trade to the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster proved as much last season, leading the Steelers in receptions (111) and yards (1,426) despite drawing two fewer targets than Brown, and earning team-MVP honors in only his second season. As long as the aging Ben Roethlisberger suddenly doesn't fall off a cliff, look for similar numbers from JJSS and more TDs after he's posted seven in each of his first two seasons.

  • Posted: 2/12/2019 2:59pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has fared exceptionally well in three games without WR Antonio Brown. In those three contests he has averaged nine targets, 6.6 catches, 85 yards and one touchdown.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster will be one of the most coveted wide receivers in the fantasy realm if/when Brown is traded. One could easily argue that JSS would deserve to be drafted ahead of Brown depending on where Brown would land.

  • Posted: 2/1/2019 8:27pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster's 617 yards after catch were the sixth most in the NFL in 2018, and he was the only wide receiver ranked in the top 10 in the category.

Huddle Up: Dangerous as a deep threat and as an underneath option, Smith-Schuster also finished tied for sixth in the league with 111 receptions and ranked fifth in receiving yards. He's already shown he can be a WR1, and his ceiling would only grow if Antonio Brown ends up elsewhere this offseason.

  • Posted: 1/28/2019 3:31pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) is fine after suffering a knee injury during the Pro Bowl.

Huddle Up: The Steelers can breathe a sigh of relief. Smith-Schuster is primed to be Pittsburgh's No. 1 receiving option if/when Antonio Brown is traded. The third-year receiver is a WR1 candidate either way, but his value is obviously higher if Brown is gone.

  • Posted: 1/27/2019 1:16pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) suffered a knee contusion during the 2019 Pro Bowl and is considered questionable to return.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster probably will be fine for offseason workouts and could be the Steelers main option in passing game next year if Antonio Brown is traded. He posted 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns this season and can be a No. 2 fantasy receiver in 2019.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 9:27pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught five of his 10 targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: It was a bit of a disappointing day at the office for the second-year wideout considering the Steelers were without Antonio Brown, but the Bengals also did their best to make Pittsburgh's other players beat them. Still, Smith-Schuster finishes the year with an eye-popping 111 receptions for 1,426 yards and seven scores. Already arguably a top-five receiver in dynasty formats, he has done more than enough to justify pick in the late second or early third round in redraft leagues next summer.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 7:32pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster posted 11 receptions for 115 yards on 15 targets in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints, although he lost a fumble which ended up costing the team the game.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster had a nice day and he combined with Antonio Brown for 25 receptions, 300 yards and 34 targets for a dream performance when most fantasy owners were having their championship weeks. The lost fumble might have cost fantasy owners some points, but JuJu still had an outstanding game, especially for PPR players.

  • Posted: 12/22/2018 10:39am ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (groin) said he expects to play in the team's Week 16 game.

Huddle Up: He is still listed as questionable for the game, so owners should check the inactive list for his official status. He has been one of the better receivers in the NFL this season and can be at least a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues if he is active.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 1:15pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (groin) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster probably will be a game-time decision, so owners will need to monitor the situation during the next few days. He is a must-start option when he is healthy, but owners will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 1:38pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (groin) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Owners should monitor the situation to see if Smith-Schuster is in any danger of missing the Week 16 game. He has been targeted at least 10 times in four of the last five games and should be at least a No. 2 receiver if he is active.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 8:28pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster finished with four receptions for 40 yards on 10 targets in Week 15 against the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Ben Roethlisberger tried to get the ball into the hands of Smith-Schuster, but the Patriots did a good job of taking out the big guns in the pass attack and forcing others to beat them. Smith-Schuster could return with a huge game in Week 16 on the fast track in New Orleans.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 8:09pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught eight of his 12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-21 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster topped 100 yards for the third time in the last four games, putting up WR1 numbers in the process. As long as the injury to Ben Roethlisberger isn't serious, there is no reason to expect Smith-Schuster to slow down any time soon.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 10:39pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster had six receptions for 49 yards in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Huddle Up: This was Smith-Schuster's worst game since a four-catch, 33-yard effort against the Browns in late October. He should have plenty of chances to bounce back next week against the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 8:15pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster racked up 13 catches for 189 yards and a 97-yard touchdown on 17 targets in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos. He is the fourth player in NFL history with multiple scoring receptions of more than 95 yards, joining Mike Wallace, John Taylor and Gaynell Tinsley.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster was impressive on the long touchdown, running a pair of defenders in circles before turning on the jets and running away for the long score.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 5:28pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster racked up eight catches for 104 yards on 10 targets in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster posted his fifth 100-yard game of the season, and first since Oct. 14 in Cincinnati. He has been piling up big yardage, but it's Antonio Brown who continues to be the scoring machine among the Pittsburgh wideouts. Next up is a trip to Denver in Week 12.

  • Posted: 11/8/2018 8:13pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught three of his five targets for 90 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown, and added a 13-yard run in a 52-21 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster has been a little more inconsistent in recent weeks, but he offers WR2 upside on a weekly basis.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 1:41pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught seven passes for 78 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster was more involved in the passing game this week and has been targeted at least six times in all but one game this season. He will continue to be a big part of the passing game and can be a solid No. 2 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 2:24pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught four passes for 33 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster has cooled off a bit since the early part of the season but has still been targeted at least six times in six of the seven games this season. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver next week against the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 10/25/2018 9:08am ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster leads the league with 468 receiving yards out of the slot heading into Week 8.

Huddle Up: That slot-yardage total accounts for 83.4 percent of Smith-Schuster's 561 yards on the season as opposing defenses have been forced to pick their poison with Antonio Brown on the outside. Smith-Schuster remains a high-end WR2 for the remainder of the season.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 2:06pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster pulled down seven receptions for a game-high 111 yards on 10 targets in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster entered with just 94 receiving yards over his past two games, but he was back in business against the Bengals. That's his fourth 100-yard game of the season, and he has been targeted at least eight times in five of his six outings. Fantasy owners will have to make alternate plans in Week 7 as the Steelers are on a bye.

  • Posted: 9/28/2018 12:51pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (abdomen) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster has been targeted 38 times in the first three games and has recorded three straight 100-yard games. He should be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 receiver in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 1:03pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (abdomen) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster appears to have a decent chance to play as long as he is able to practice again Friday, Sept. 28. He has been a very productive fantasy option over the first three weeks of the season and should continue to be a No. 2 fantasy receiver moving forward.

  • Posted: 9/26/2018 2:05pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (abdomen) sat out of practice Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Huddle Up: JuJu has three days left to practice, so don't be too alarmed just yet. Surprisingly, he is the Steelers' leading wide receiver this season and merits low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 consideration.

  • Posted: 9/24/2018 9:28pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster posted nine receptions for 116 yards on 11 targets in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, Sept. 24.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster has posted at least 116 receiving yards in each of his first three games, and he has racked up 22 catches with 30 targets over the past two outings. Smith-Schuster's huge numbers are not making those who own stock in Antonio Brown smile. The second-year receiver from USC has emerged as a legit WR1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 4 against the Ravens.

  • Posted: 9/18/2018 6:09pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster leads the NFL with eight red zone targets through two weeks.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster has drawn an eye-popping 27 targets so far, six fewer than teammate and league leader Antonio Brown. Taking that one step further, Smith-Schuster has 60 more yards on the same number of receptions. Perhaps more interestingly, the second-year receiver has lined up in the slot in 92 of his 105 snaps this season. His production will start slowing down a bit once the Steelers operate in positive game scripts, but he has certainly emerged as a high-end fantasy WR2.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 3:52pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster racked up 13 receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown on a game-high 19 targets in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: The catch total and targets were easily career bests, as his previous high was nine grabs in Week 17 and he had 10 targets just twice last season. It was also his fourth-career 100-yard game. He is emerging as a fantasy stud, and should be treated as a WR2 in most formats heading into Week 3 at Tampa Bay on Monday night.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 3:23pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster racked up five receptions for a game-high 119 yards on eight targets in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster has emerged as a tremendous weapon in the Pittsburgh pass game even with a dynamic superstar like Antonio Brown on the other side. Treat Smith-Schuster as a solid WR3 or flex fantasy option in all fantasy formats. The Steelers host the Chiefs in Week 2.

  • Posted: 8/25/2018 6:32pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster caught six of his eight targets for 46 yards in a 16-6 preseason win over the Tennessee Titans Saturday, Aug. 25.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster impressed as a rookie, and he will be the No. 2 option behind Antonio Brown in the passing game this year. He is worth a look as a low-end WR2.

  • Posted: 7/31/2018 11:52am ET

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (undisclosed) is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but head coach Mike Tomlin said Smith-Schuster is considered day-to-day.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster probably will miss a few days of practice but does not appear to be in any danger of missing any playing time. He is coming off a terrific rookie season and should be in the starting lineup for the Steelers. Smith-Schuster can be considered a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 7/29/2018 4:24pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (undisclosed) was not able to finish practice Sunday, July 29, because of an undisclosed injury but was catching passes after practice.

Huddle Up: The severity of Smith-Schuster's injury is uncertain at this point, but it is probably a good sign that he was working after practice. He should receive plenty of targets in the passing game this season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 7/5/2018 11:49am ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is expected to receive at least 100 targets this season, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler.

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster was one of the top rookie receivers in the NFL in 2017 and should receive a bigger role this season. He should be at least a No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 6/14/2018 9:13pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster said he likes playing in the slot because it fits his aggressive style of play. 'I like playing inside,' Smith-Schuster said. 'I just love the physicalness of being in the box with the bigger guys.'

Huddle Up: Smith-Schuster topped 900 yards receiving last year to go along with seven touchdowns, and he has the potential to improve on those numbers in 2018. At worst, he should deliver WR3 production.

  • Posted: 6/13/2018 12:08pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) has been limited this offseason by what he referred to as a frustrating injury. He has not participated in team drills during organized team activities or minicamp, but he does expect to be ready when training camp begins.

Huddle Up: As long as JuJu doesn't have any setbacks leading up to or during training camp he should be fine for the regular season. It will be a tall task for him to improve on his 917-yard, seven-touchdown rookie year, but he did miss two contests. He's a legitimate WR2 candidate.
