Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) said Thursday, Feb. 14, he is almost fully recovered from the chronic hamstring injuries which limited him miss 10 of the Texans' 17 regular-season/playoff games as a rookie this past season. 'I'm feeling great,' Coutee said. 'I'm feeling really good. I'm feeling like myself. The hamstring is good. I'm still resting a little bit. I'm going to start back training soon, but it's 100 percent.'

Huddle Up: DeAndre Hopkins will still be gobbling up the lion's share of the Texans' targets and Will Fuller will also be involved if he can come back from a torn ACL, but Coutee has sleeper potential, particularly in PPR formats, after averaging 5.6 receptions and 56.7 yards and catching a pair of TD passes in the seven games he did play last season.

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee caught 11 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in his first playoff game, but the Texans lost to the Indianapolis Colts 21-7 Saturday, Jan. 5.

Huddle Up: Coutee played minimally in his first year with a nagging hamstring injury. When he did play with Will Fuller out, he was lights out. Houston boasts a solid wide receiver corps with DeAndre Hopkins, Coutee and Fuller, but Coutee isn't as valuable when Fuller is healthy. Still, he's an extremely alluring fantasy sleeper in 2019.

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will be active for the Wild Card playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to a team official.

Huddle Up: Coutee has not played since the end of November because of the hamstring injury but has been a solid fantasy option when he has been healthy. He is a risky option this week because he could aggravate the injury but can also be considered a flex option in playoff fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/4/2019 8:57pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts in the wild-card round Saturday, Jan. 5, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Coutee has flashed plenty of potential when healthy, but he missed the final five games of the regular season. Needless to say, he could be dealing with some rust, making him a risky play in playoff contests.

  • Posted: 1/3/2019 2:05pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 3, but is listed as questionable for the Wild Card playoff game.

Huddle Up: Coutee is expected to be a game-time decision but was a full participant in all three practices this week. He has played well when he is healthy but may be too risky of an option for owners this week.

  • Posted: 1/3/2019 9:05am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is 'trending in the right direction' as he attempts to overcome a hamstring injury and play in the Saturday, Jan. 5, wild-card game, according to head coach Bill O'Brien. Coutee's status likely will be a game-time decision.

Huddle Up: The hammy issue has helped limit the wideout to six games -- and only two since Week 7 -- in his rookie season. But when he plays, he's been involved, averaging 6.8 targets, 4.7 receptions and 47.8 yards per contest -- and most of that is with since-injured WRs Demaryius Thomas and Will Fuller also playing along with stud WR1 DeAndre Hopkins. Check the game-day inactives list if you're thinking about using him.

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) has a chance to play in the Wild Card playoff game, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.

Huddle Up: Coutee has not played since the end of November, but owners can keep an eye on his practice participation during the week. He has played well when healthy, but owners probably should look for other options for their lineups.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 2:33pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion for the third straight day Friday, Dec. 28 and he is listed as questionable for Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Coutee has shown glimpses of brilliance this season but a nagging hamstring injury from the summer has bugged him for most of his first NFL campaign. He'll be an intriguing fantasy play heading into 2019 if he can finally get right.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 1:06pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Coutee's status for Week 17 is still uncertain, but he has missed about a month of the season because of the injury. Owners may want to look for other options to use in their lineups since the Texans could consider giving him more time to rest.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 3:21pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: Coutee has not played since the end of November, so his status for Week 17 is uncertain at this point. He has played well when he has been healthy this season but probably can be avoided in most leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/22/2018 9:06am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will not travel with the team for their Week 16 game and has been ruled out.

Huddle Up: DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas will be the main options in the passing game this season and should both be starting options in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 2:09pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant in practice Friday, Dec. 21 and he is considered questionable for Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Coutee has shown flashes of brilliance this season, but his hamstring hasn't been right all season and he is a risky fantasy play at this critical juncture of the fantasy season. Start him at your own risk if he is active.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 3:13pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: Coutee's status for the Week 16 is still uncertain, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation. He is a solid fantasy option when he is healthy, but owners probably should look at other options because Coutee has been dealing with hamstring problems for most of the season.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 4:02pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 19.

  • Posted: 12/17/2018 11:56am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is considered day-to-day and will likely be a game-time decision in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: It's been an odd rookie season for Coutee, who originally suffered a hamstring injury back in August and has been limited to six games. Despite showing out in Week 4 and Week 5 and playing well again in Week 11 after another extended absence, he hasn't quite been able to get over the hump. DeAndre Carter will continue to serve as the primary slot receiver for the time being but can be left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest of leagues.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 8:35am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will not travel in Week 15 and has been downgraded to out.

Huddle Up: Demaryius Thomas had two touchdowns last week, and he vaulted back into the spotlight after a couple of disappearing acts. He'll be a WR3 this week against the New York Jets.

  • Posted: 12/12/2018 3:45pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Coutee probably will be a game-time decision again this week, but owners will need to monitor the situation over the next few days. He would be a risky option if he is active for the game and could be benched if owners have more reliable options available.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 6:18am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is likely to miss Week 14's game against the Indianapolis Colts, unless he has 'a great workout pregame,' according to a source.

Huddle Up: Coutee had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He has battled hamstring problems all season and should be considered a risky fantasy play even if he is active this afternoon, so owners should look for safer alternatives.

  • Posted: 12/7/2018 2:54pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Coutee probably will be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to monitor the situation over the next few days. He will be a risky option if he is active for the game because he could aggravate the injury. Owners can consider benching Coutee if they have better and healthier options available.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 3:08pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 6.

Huddle Up: Coutee has dealt with hamstring injuries for most of the season, so his status for Week 14 is uncertain. Owners can consider benching him and look for other options because of his risky injury situation.

  • Posted: 12/5/2018 3:12pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Huddle Up: Coutee was not able to play in the Week 13 game, so owners will need to check on his status for Week 14 later in the week. He is a solid fantasy option when he is healthy but is risky because of his injury.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 5:23am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Week 13's game against the Cleveland Browns, according to a source. He will take part in pregame warmups to determine if he will play.

Huddle Up: Coutee was listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in all three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. He should be viewed as a WR3 when healthy but fantasy owners should have an emergency plan in case he is deactivated.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 4:51pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Coutee is expected to be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to check the inactive list. Coutee can be a No. 3 receiver when he is healthy but other options will need to be available if he ruled out.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 9:04am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will come down to a game-time decision in Week 13 with his hamstring injury, head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday, Nov. 30.

Huddle Up: Even if he is able to go this week, Coutee is a risky flex play as the hammy issue has the chance to flare up at any time. It did a week ago, and Coutee was limited to two catches for 14 yards.

  • Posted: 11/29/2018 2:41pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 29.

Huddle Up: Coutee likely will be able to play in the Week 13 game if he does not have any more problems with his hamstring. He has been a solid contributor when he has been healthy and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in leagues.

  • Posted: 11/28/2018 3:48pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Huddle Up: Coutee has dealt with hamstring issues for most of the season and had to leave the Week 12 game because of the injury. Owners should monitor the situation during the week, but Coutee will be a risky option for owners because of his hamstring.

  • Posted: 11/27/2018 11:16am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is trending toward playing this week despite dealing with a hamstring injury, according to head coach Bill O'Brien. The current ailment is not as severe as Coutee's previous hamstring issues.

Huddle Up: Coutee was a non-factor in the Texans' Week 12 win and suffered the hamstring injury to boot. DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas will carry the receiving load if Coutee is limited.

  • Posted: 11/26/2018 7:39pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) aggravated a hamstring injury against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Hamstring issues have become an unfortunate theme for Coutee, and if he misses time, it could speed up how quickly Demaryius Thomas can carve out a bigger role in the offense.

  • Posted: 11/24/2018 4:37pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee has a great matchup against the Tennessee Titans, which have allowed the most fantasy points to receivers the last five weeks.

Huddle Up: Coutee had five grabs for 77 yards on nine targets last week as Demaryius Thomas did nothing. Coutee battled a hamstring injury this week but is good to go. Look at him as a WR3 with upside.

  • Posted: 11/24/2018 1:31pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) fully participated in practice Saturday, Nov. 24, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Huddle Up: Coutee likely will be used in the slot and should receive a solid amount of targets. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/23/2018 1:21pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Coutee has been on the injury report for several weeks but was able to play last week and is on track to play in Week 12. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/22/2018 12:35pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 22. The Texans did not hold a practice Thursday, so this is an estimation.

Huddle Up: Coutee returned last week after missing some time and posted five catches and 77 yards. He should continue to see a solid amount of targets in the passing game and can be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 4:21pm ET

Houston Texans QB Keke Coutee posted five receptions for 77 yards on nine targets in the Week 11 game against the Washington Redskins.

Huddle Up: Coutee was hampered by a hamstring injury to start the season, and the addition of Demaryius Thomas to the mix didn't help his fantasy value. But he keeps showing glimpses of brilliance. He is worth keeping around for fantasy depth in the event either Thomas or DeAndre Hopkins goes down to injury. If so, his fantasy value could explode.

  • Posted: 11/17/2018 9:27pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Coutee will have some upside as a flex option in what could be a high-scoring game against the Colts, but there is always a risk that his hamstring injury will flare up.

  • Posted: 11/17/2018 10:18am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is traveling with the team for the Week 11 game but is still listed as questionable.

Huddle Up: Coutee is expected to be a game-time decision, so owners will need to check the inactive list for his status. He has played well when he is healthy and could be a flex option if he plays, but owners will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

  • Posted: 11/16/2018 8:47am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is a game-time decision against the Washington Redskins.

Huddle Up: Coutee would be a flex option in PPR if he's healthy enough to play.

  • Posted: 11/15/2018 2:00pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 15.

Huddle Up: Coutee appears to be on track to play this week and likely will be the No. 3 receiver for the Texans against the Washington Redskins. He can be considered at least a flex option in leagues if he is active for the game.

  • Posted: 11/14/2018 3:06pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Huddle Up: Coutee appears to have a good chance to play in the Week 11 as long as he does not suffer a setback during the week. He likely will serve as the slot receiver for the Texans and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 11/12/2018 6:09pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is considered day-to- day and has a chance to play in Week 11, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor Coutee's practice participation this week to see if he is on track to play against the Washington Redskins. Coutee likely will serve as the slot receiver when he returns to the lineup and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 11/5/2018 11:55am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) told the Houston Chronicle on Monday, Nov. 5, that he will not return to action until he is '100 percent.'

Huddle Up: It's a blow to the Texans and fantasy owners alike, but it is an understandable position as Coutee has dealt with strained hamstrings in both legs. A return may not be far off, however, as the rookie practiced on a limited basis last week. With Houston on bye in Week 10, owners should assume Coutee will be questionable for Week 11 against the Washington Redskins.

  • Posted: 11/3/2018 11:20am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will not travel with the team for their Week 9 game and has been ruled out.

Huddle Up: DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas will receive a majority of the targets in the passing game with Coutee sidelined. Hopkins should be a No. 1 receiver in all leagues, while Thomas can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 11/3/2018 9:59am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is expected to be a game-time decision for the Week 9 game because of his hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to check the inactive list to see if Coutee will be able to play in Week 9. He likely will be the slot receiver for the Texans when he plays and could be a No. 3 receiver or flex option this week if he is active.

  • Posted: 11/2/2018 12:44pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 2, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Huddle Up: Coutee could be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to check the inactive list. Coutee likely will be the slot receiver moving forward after the addition of Demaryius Thomas. He has a chance to be a No. 3 receiver or flex option if he plays.

  • Posted: 11/1/2018 2:21pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 1.

Huddle Up: Coutee appears to have a chance to play this week, so owners should continue to monitor his status. He likely will work as the slot receiver because of the addition of Demaryius Thomas but can still be a No. 3 receiver or flex option for owners.

  • Posted: 10/31/2018 1:51pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Huddle Up: It's uncertain if Coutee will be forced to miss any playing time or not, but the addition of Demaryius Thomas from the Denver Broncos at the trade deadline certainly doesn't help his short-term fantasy appeal. Once DT gets up to speed in the Houston offense, Coutee is likely to be third in the pecking order for receptions.

  • Posted: 10/24/2018 2:49pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 24 and he is listed as out for Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Huddle Up: Coutee's injury was not believed to be serious, but perhaps with the short turnaround the team didn't want to risk him aggravating it further. He might be ready to go in Week 9, but when healthy he is nothing more than a WR4 or flex fantasy play in leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 10/22/2018 5:27pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Oct. 22.

Huddle Up: Coutee was not able to finish the Week 7 game because of the injury, so his status for this week is uncertain. Owners should know more about his availability in the next few days, but he will be a risky option if he is active.

  • Posted: 10/22/2018 11:03am ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is likely to miss Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins with a hamstring injury, but he is not expected to miss much more time than that, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Huddle Up: Coutee's production has slowed considerably since his 11-catch, 15-target debut, but he's also seen limited time at practice since returning and been dogged by a hamstring injury since this summer. Owners of the rookie receiver should hold onto him, as they have already seen his upside, and he's one injury away from having significant relevance in fantasy.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 2:49pm ET

Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) caught one pass for three yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7 before he left the game because of a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Coutee missed time earlier in the season because of a hamstring injury and may miss the Week 8 game since the team plays on Thursday Night Football. Owners should monitor the situation to see when he will be able to return to the field.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 11:48am ET

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) will not return to the Week 7 game because of his hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Owners should know more about Coutee's injury in the next day or two. He has played well over the last several weeks but could miss time because of the injury. Will Fuller probably would see more targets if Coutee misses time and has a chance to be a No. 3 fantasy receiver against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8.
