Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is at the team's minicamp, but either doing side field work or no work at all. 'He's still under the medical people's orders. He's fine, but he can't just twist (the wrist) right now,' head coach Vic Fangio said Tuesday, April 16.

Huddle Up: Lindsay had a few months to get himself back to 100 percent. He came out of nowhere last season as an undrafted rookie to emerge as a must-start fantasy option. The former Colorado State product won't sneak up on anyone this season. Assuming he is fully healthy he will be a solid low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option in 2019.

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) might be able to return for organized team activities (OTAs) in May/June, general manager John Elway suggested. However, Lindsay said Wednesday, April 3 that he would not pin an exact date on his comeback. 'For me, I put no time limit on my injury right now,' Lindsay said. 'When I'm ready, I'm going to be ready.'

Huddle Up: Lindsay posted 1,278 combined total yards rushing and receiving with 10 touchdowns in his rookie season of 2018, and he will enter 2019 as a must-start fantasy option. Whether or not he participates in OTAs or not, it sounds like he'll be more than ready for training camp and the preseason.

  • Posted: 3/24/2019 9:08am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is unlikely to be ready for the team's draft-week bonus minicamp as he recovers from wrist surgery, head coach Vic Fangio said Sunday, March 24.

Huddle Up: No real worries at the moment as this has been the planned recovery time all along. As long as Lindsay is cleared to go for most of training camp, he'll remain a RB2 draft consideration.

  • Posted: 2/6/2019 3:34pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (arm) is still sporting a cast on the right arm he fractured and had surgery on late in the season. Lindsay did not discuss his status for organized team activities this offseason, saying he is simply going with the flow in his recovery.

Huddle Up: Lindsay went from undrafted free agent to becoming the second rookie running back in history to tally at least 1,000 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns on fewer than 200 carries. As long as he's fully healthy he'll be an RB2 candidate in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 1/30/2019 7:29pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) said he expects to participate in some of the workouts this offseason. General manager John Elway said Lindsay is on track to take part in organized team activities and the June minicamp.

Huddle Up: Lindsay finished his rookie season with 1,037 yards and nine touchdowns and was also involved in the passing game. He will be the team's starting running back next season and can be considered a No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 6:04pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) will have surgery to repair his injured wrist Friday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: Lindsay was one of the biggest fantasy surprises among this year's rookies. Royce Freeman will be looming, but assuming Lindsay's recovery goes well, he should have the first shot at leading the Denver backfield in 2019.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 2:17pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) will have three to four months of recovery following surgery on his injured wrist, according to head coach Vance Joseph.

Huddle Up: Lindsay should be recovered in plenty of time for offseason activities. It remains to be seen who will coach the Broncos next year and how Lindsay and at least Royce Freeman will be implemented, but Lindsay has proven that he deserves as many touches as he can handle.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 9:24am ET

Updating previous reports, Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) has torn ligaments around the scaphoid bone in his wrist, and it's a four-to-six-month injury. He could do non-contact drills in organized team activities.

Huddle Up: Royce Freeman is likely to see the featured load in the season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers, and he's a low-end RB2 in fantasy.

  • Posted: 12/25/2018 3:25pm ET

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is facing a 'lengthy recovery,' according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. He is dealing with 'a possible scaphoid fracture along with ligament damage.'

Huddle Up: It's a somber way for Lindsay's incredible season to come to an end, as the former Colorado product was the first undrafted rookie offensive player to be named to the Pro Bowl. Assuming he's 100 percent going into training camp, Lindsay should be someone who goes real early in drafts in 2019.

  • Posted: 12/25/2018 1:55pm ET

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) is believed to have suffered a serious wrist injury in Week 16 and his season is over, according to a source. He will undergo more tests this week. The Denver phenom is dealing with what could be a scaphoid fracture in addition to ligament damage. His recovery will be lengthy unless the aforementioned tests show otherwise.

Huddle Up: As was stated earlier, Lindsay will be in PPR RB2 territory entering his sophomore campaign. As for this week, Royce Freeman demands RB2 attention as he will be the featured back in Denver's backfield. Devontae Booker merits PPR flex consideration.

  • Posted: 12/25/2018 11:26am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) posited that his injured wrist is 'probably just a sprain,' adding that he'll try to play in the season finale. 'I'm a tough dude and I'm going to do it for my team,' Lindsay said. 'If I can play, I'm going to play.'

Huddle Up: Lindsay has been a rare silver lining for the Broncos this year, running for over 1,000 yards and totaling 10 touchdowns as an undrafted rookie. The presence of Royce Freeman limits his ceiling, but Lindsay possesses PPR RB2 allure heading into 2019.

  • Posted: 12/25/2018 7:05am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) will undergo an MRI Tuesday, Dec. 25, but he hopes to play in Week 17.

Huddle Up: He would be an RB2 option against the Los Angeles Chargers.

  • Posted: 12/25/2018 4:05am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (wrist) injured his wrist in the second half of the team's Week 16 loss Monday, Dec. 24, opposite the Oakland Raiders. He missed the remainder of the ballgame.

Huddle Up: With the Broncos out of playoff contention, it would seem more likely than not that Denver elects to rest their stud rookie tailback in a meaningless game. Obviously, this is a situation his fantasy owners need to monitor as the week progresses.

  • Posted: 12/25/2018 2:23am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay recorded 46 rushing yards on 10 carries along with two catches for 11 yards in the team's Week 16 defeat Monday, Dec. 24, against the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: Lindsay wasn't able to really get it going in this one as Denver fell into a sizable hole in the first half. Despite the lackluster showing, the Pro Bowler will continue to serve as a must-start option for those continuing their fantasy seasons into Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 6:30pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay faces the Oakland Raiders in Week 16, and the Raiders have allowed the most rushing yards in the NFL this season.

Huddle Up: Lindsay is coming off back-to-back duds, but he ran for 107 yards on 14 carries against Oakland earlier this year. Keep the faith in him as a RB2 this weekend.

  • Posted: 12/15/2018 8:29pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 14 times for 24 yards and caught four passes for 20 yards in a 17-16 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Lindsay has struggled to find running room in back-to-back games, and it appears defenses may be focusing on shutting him down now that Emmanuel Sanders isn't around to provide a proven weapon in the passing attack. He still has a shot at RB2 production against the Raiders in Week 16, but his Lindsay's ceiling suddenly seems a lot lower.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 6:59pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay has scored six touchdown in his last four games, and he faces a Cleveland Browns defense in Week 15 that has allowed the second-most rushing touchdowns in the NFL.

Huddle Up: The Browns have also allowed the fifth-most rushing yards, so Lindsay should be locked and loaded for solid RB2 production Sunday.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 7:31pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 14 times for 30 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 21 yards in a 20-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Lindsay salvaged his day with the touchdown, but it snapped a stretch of strong showings from the rookie. Look for him to return to his RB2 ways against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 2:23pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 19 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: Lindsay has jumped into the front seat for carries in Denver ahead of Royce Freeman and he isn't lessening his grip on the No. 1 job. He had 20 total touches to 12 for Freeman, and the gap could get wider heading into Week 14 in San Francisco after this big day.

  • Posted: 11/27/2018 9:41am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay ranks third in the league in rushing (434 yards) and second in yards per carry (5.86) since Week 7.

Huddle Up: The explosive Lindsay took advantage of Royce Freeman's two-game injury absence to seize control of the Broncos' starting gig and comes out of Week 12 ranked 11th among fantasy RBs on the season with 139 points. He's a low-end RB1 consideration the rest of the way.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 8:30pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay went for 110 rushing yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: The undrafted free agent out of Colorado continues to surprise, coming out of nowhere to roll up the second-most rushing yards (749) for a rookie this season. He trails only Saquon Barkley of the Giants in that category.

  • Posted: 11/24/2018 6:47pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay has finished with at least 84 total yards in four straight games, scoring a combined four touchdowns over that span.

Huddle Up: Lindsay has flashed his upside since the start of the season, and he now has the consistency to match. Consider him a RB2 in Week 12 despite a tough matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers looming.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 7:14pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 11 times for 79 yards and two touchdowns and caught four passes for 27 yards in a 23-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Lindsay continues to make the most of his touches, showing explosiveness as a runner and versatility in the passing game. He's developed in a strong RB2 option.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 6:44pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 17 times for 60 yards and caught two passes for 24 yards in a 19-17 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Devontae Booker vultured a touchdown, or Lindsay's line would have looked a lot nicer. As long as Royce Freeman remains sidelined, Lindsay is a RB2 candidate.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 2:34pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 18 times for 95 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs and he added three receptions for 17 yards.

Huddle Up: Lindsay has been impressive over the past two outings, racking up 32 rushes for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He has emerged as a bona fide RB2 or flex fantasy option in most leagues heading into Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 9:35am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay will make his first pro start Sunday, Oct. 28, with fellow RB Royce Freeman (ankle) inactive for Week 8. Lindsay is not expected to play on special teams with his offensive workload increasing.

Huddle Up: The undrafted rookie already is leading the team in rushing attempts (75), rushing yards (436) and touches (90) and should be in line for his largest workload of the season Sunday. Plug him in as a RB1/2, and start him with confidence.

  • Posted: 10/18/2018 8:34pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 14 times for 90 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for six yards in a 45-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Lindsay only received one more carry than Royce Freeman, but he was far more effective. He has seen around 15 touches per game the last few weeks and is excellent flex option with RB2 upside.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 8:36pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed four times for 18 yards in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams and he added six for 48 yards.

Huddle Up: Lindsay easily outpaced Royce Freeman, who was bottled up for 22 yards on nine totes. It's quick turnaround for Lindsay and the Broncos, as they roll into Arizona for Thursday night action in Week 7.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 3:57pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 12 times for 61 yards in the Week 5 game against the New York Jets and he added three grabs for 20 yards.

Huddle Up: Lindsay and Royce Freeman have been the two backs in the Mile High City, and Lindsay has emerged as a useful RB3 or flex fantasy option in most formats. The Broncos face a difficult matchup in Week 6 against the Rams.

  • Posted: 10/2/2018 5:08pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay was fined $10,026 by the league for unnecessary roughness in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 10/1/2018 8:53pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 12 times for a team-best 69 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 game against the Chiefs on Monday, Oct. 1.

Huddle Up: Lindsay and Royce Freeman did a good job rushing against the Chiefs defense, as Denver rolled up 159 yards and two scores. The duo split the carries for the most part, and each appear to be solid RB3 or flex fantasy options going forward into Week 5 against the Jets on the road.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 11:20am ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay was ejected in the second quarter of the Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens, on Sunday, Sept. 23, for throwing a punch in a pileup.

Huddle Up: Huge blow for the fantasy owners of the Broncos' leading rusher and one of the bright lights of the young fantasy season. Lindsay had four rushes for 20 yards prior to the ejection.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 11:51pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay carried the ball 14 times for 107 yards in Week 2 against the Oakland Raiders. In doing so, Lindsay became the first undrafted player in NFL history to top 100 yards from scrimmage in each of his first two games.

Huddle Up: After accounting for 102 yards and a score in Week 1, Linsday compiled 111 total yards on Sunday. At 5-foot-8, 190 pounds, it seems unsustainable, but after two weeks he deserves to be picked up in all leagues. We'll see how he handles a physical Ravens defense on the road coming off an extra few days of rest in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/14/2018 3:04pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Huddle Up: Lindsay had a solid role on offense in Week 1 and should receive a similar workload this week. He can be at least a flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/13/2018 4:16pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 13.

Huddle Up: Lindsay split carries with Royce Freeman in Week 1 and probably will continue to share time with Freeman as long as he is productive. He can be considered a No. 2 running back or flex option this week against the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 8:06pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay rushed 15 times for 71 yards and caught two passes for 31 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Lindsay was supposed to be the kick returner while Royce Freeman and Devontae Booker handled the rushing duties. Instead, it may be Lindsay and Freeman who make up the committee, and Lindsay is worth a waiver claim while his role becomes more defined in the coming weeks.
