New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. had three catches for 58 yards on six targets in the AFC Championship Game against the Los Angeles Rams to lead his team's wide receivers in yardage.

Huddle Up: Ginn had a long 43-yard reception late in regulation to set up what was a go-ahead field goal at the time, although the Rams obviously came back and won the game. It's uncertain if Ginn will be back in New Orleans in 2019 or play elsewhere, but he still has plenty of speed to burn and he could be helpful in certain fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 1/13/2019 5:31pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught three of his seven passes for 44 yards in a 20-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round Sunday, Jan. 13.

Huddle Up: Ginn is a big-play dependent fantasy option, but with the player pool dwindling, he could be worth a roll of the dice in playoff contests with a matchup with the Rams looming in the conference title game. Drew Brees tossed four touchdowns when the two sides met in the regular season.

  • Posted: 1/11/2019 1:59pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 11, and is not on the injury report for the Divisional Round playoff game.

Huddle Up: Ginn should have a solid role in the passing game against the Philadelphia Eagles and played well in his first game off the Reserve/Injured list. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/10/2019 2:57pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 10.

Huddle Up: Ginn played well in the only game since coming off the Reserve/Injured list and should receive a solid amount of targets against the Philadelphia Eagles. He has a chance to be a No. 2 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 1/9/2019 2:20pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) practiced in full on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Huddle Up: The speed burner appears to be ready to face Philadelphia this weekend and is likely to start opposite Michael Thomas. Normally in-season Ginn would be nothing more than a WR5 in most fantasy leagues, but he has some WR3 or flex fantasy appeal in postseason pools and he isn't a bad mid-tier DFS play, either.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 2:57pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Ginn was activated from the Reserve/Injured list this week, but his status for Week 17 is uncertain. Owners probably can avoid him even if he is active for the game since he may be eased back into the offense.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 8:22pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. returned to action in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and he finished with five grabs for 74 yards and eight targets.

Huddle Up: The Saints locked up the No. 1 seed and might rest most of their starters and key players to get ready for the playoffs. However, Ginn could possibly play a lot in Week 17 as the team gets him back up to game speed after a long layoff. He could have a big fantasy week in the finale.

  • Posted: 12/22/2018 1:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was activated from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Dec. 22. He is expected to be active in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, his first game action since Week 4.

Huddle Up: Ginn has 12 grabs for 135 yards and a touchdown this season. His return is likely to impact the targets of Tre'Quan Smith, however neither is a recommended fantasy option at this critical juncture of the season.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 8:40pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 19. The Saints will have 21 days to decide if they want to activate him from the Reserve/Injured list.

Huddle Up: Ginn likely will not return before the end of the regular season but may be able to play in the playoffs. Owners in all leagues should not consider adding him at this point.

  • Posted: 12/10/2018 12:11pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) may still return from the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Dec. 10. Head coach Sean Payton has been encouraged by his rehabilitation. Ginn cannot be designated to return if teammate OG Josh LeRibeus (ankle) is designated, however.

Huddle Up: Ginn did nothing to write home about before being hurt, but he would provide the Saints with a needed receiving threat. Pick him up off waivers if you have the roster room and are needy at the position.

  • Posted: 10/20/2018 10:20am ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery after dealing with some inflammation in the knee. Head coach Sean Payton said Ginn could return later this season.

Huddle Up: Tre'Quan Smith and Cameron Meredith should receive more targets while Ginn is sidelined. Both receivers should be owned and could be flex options in favorable matchups.

  • Posted: 10/19/2018 7:07pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith is expected to see a larger role after WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list, and Smith said he is 'ready for the opportunity.'

Huddle Up: Smith was able to show that he can be a threat down the field when he caught three passes for 111 and two touchdowns against the Washington Redskins in Week 5. He will be a boom-or-bust flex option against the Ravens in Week 7.

  • Posted: 10/18/2018 2:21pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Oct. 18, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Cameron Meredith and Tre'Quan Smith probably will receive more targets in the passing game with Ginn sidelined. Both players should be owned in leagues because of the Saints offensive scheme and could be flex options against favorable matchups.

  • Posted: 10/17/2018 4:02pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Huddle Up: Owners should know more about Ginn's status later in the week. He has posted decent numbers so far this season, He would be facing a tough Baltimore Ravens defense if he plays and could be benched because of his uncertain status.

  • Posted: 10/6/2018 12:49pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) did not practice Saturday, Oct. 6 and he has been ruled out for the Week 5 game against the Washington Redskins on Monday, Oct. 8.

Huddle Up: With Ginn sidelined, Cameron Meredith might slide up to start alongside Michael Thomas with Tre'Quan Smith and Austin Carr perhaps seeing more targets as well.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 4:30pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was absent from practice on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: The veteran Ginn was just being rested here as the club works to manage his reps. He'll be available for New Orleans' home date with the Redskins on Monday Night Football this week, but he's someone to really only consider deploying in the deepest leagues. In his last game, Ginn failed to haul in any of his three targets.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 3:29pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Ginn was held to only 12 yards last week but still has recorded two touchdowns in the first three games. He is a risky option for owners because of his boom-or-bust play but can still be at least a flex option in leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 3:48pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Ginn probably will be able to play this week as long as he does not suffer any setbacks. He has been targeted 13 times in the first two games and has posted 123 yards and one touchdown. He can be a decent flex option for owners in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 2:00pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught four passes for 55 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Ginn was not able to reach the end zone this week but did post decent numbers against the Browns. He could be a flex option in some leagues next week against the Atlanta Falcons but is not a must-start player.

  • Posted: 9/14/2018 1:02pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Huddle Up: Ginn was able to post solid numbers in the Week 1 game and should continue to see a solid amount of targets moving forward. He can be considered a flex option in some fantasy leagues this week because of his big-play ability.

  • Posted: 9/13/2018 3:07pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 13.

Huddle Up: Ginn looks to have a decent change to play in Week 2 as long as he does not suffer a setback. He is coming off a solid Week 1 performance and could be a No. 3 receiver or flex option for fantasy owners this week.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 1:59pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr. caught five passes for 68 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa bay Buccaneers in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Ginn was coming off a solid 2017 season and continues to be a solid contributor in the Saints passing game. He should have a favorable matchup next week and can be a low-end No. 3 receiver or a flex option in fantasy leagues.
