Huddle Up: Jones should be fine for training camp and will be one of the first receivers selected in fantasy drafts.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones was not present for the start of organized team activities Monday, May 20.

Huddle Up: Jones is talking with the team about a contract extension and may not participate until the mandatory minicamp. Jones continues to be one of the top receivers in the NFL and should be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 5/11/2019 1:58pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones' agent has been talking with the Falcons about a contract extension for Jones, and general manager Thomas Dimitroff said he is very encouraged with the talks. Dimitroff said there is no timetable for an agreement.

Huddle Up: Jones has been one of the top receivers in the NFL over the last several seasons and will be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues again in 2019.

  • Posted: 4/15/2019 7:39pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones was not present for the start of offseason workouts Monday, April 15, according to a source. He has indicated that he will participate in the mandatory workouts.

Huddle Up: Jones likely will receive a contract extension at some point during the offseason and likely will be on the field for the mandatory minicamp. He continues to be one of the top receivers in the NFL and should be a first- or second-round pick in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 3/22/2019 9:24am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones and the team is closing in on a contract extension that would pay him $20 million a year over a four- or five-year deal, according to a source. Jones also would receive $50-60 million in new guarantees.

Huddle Up: Jones just turned 30 and is eyeing one last mega-deal for his career after leading the league with 1,677 receiving yards last season. He's been a top-10 fantasy wideout in each of the last five seasons, and there's no reason to expect anything less over the next few seasons.

  • Posted: 3/20/2019 4:10pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones has been talking with the Falcons about a contract extension, and general manager Thomas Dimitroff said the two sides are having good conversations.

Huddle Up: Jones likely will receive an extension at some point this offseason and likely will become the highest paid receivers in the NFL. He should be one of the first receivers selected in fantasy drafts next season and will be a weekly starting option.

  • Posted: 2/9/2019 4:26pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones has the most career receiving yards (10,731) by age 30 in NFL history, according to ESPN.com's Field Yates.

Huddle Up: Yet, somehow, Jones feels a bit underrated, or least underappreciated. Over the last five years he has finished as WR2, WR7, WR6, WR2 and WR6. If you're taking him in the second round of 2019 fantasy drafts you're doing it right.

  • Posted: 1/22/2019 10:51am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones led all receivers with 24 receptions for first downs on 30 third-down targets this past season.

Huddle Up: Despite a slow start in the TD department (none in his first seven games) Jones also wound up leading the league in receiving yards (1,677) for the second time in the last four seasons. And even with Jones turning 30 this offseason (on Super Bowl Sunday), he remains an elite WR1 in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 1/3/2019 6:24pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones's contract situation isn't a concern, according to general manager Thomas Dimitroff. 'We'll take care of that business,' Dimitroff said.

Huddle Up: The knock on Jones has been that he doesn't catch enough touchdowns, but after piling up 113 catches for 1,677 yards and 10 games with 100-plus yards lat year, you will have a hard time finder a steadier WR1. Jones has now topped 1,400 receiving yards in five straight games.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 5:53pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (chest) was headed for X-rays of his chest following the Week 17 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He caught nine of his 13 targets for 138 yards and a touchdown in a 34-32 win.

Huddle Up: With Atlanta's season in the books, the injury shouldn't have any impact on his fantasy value moving forward. Jones finishes 2018 with a 113 catches for 1,677 yards, and he will be one of the safest bets for WR1 production again in 2019.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 10:31am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (ribs/hip) will play in Week 17, the team announced Friday, Dec. 29.

Huddle Up: As usual, fantasy GMs can count on Jones, who is in his typical WR1 slot for Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 2:39pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Owners will know more about Jones' status in the next few days. He is a must-start option if he is active for the game, but owners will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 2:35pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: It's no surprise, as Jones typically rests during mid-week sessions anyway. Circle back around on Friday when the official injury report is revealed. He might very well go down to being a game-time decision for Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 6:33pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones ended up with four catches for 28 yards and a touchdowns on five targets in Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Jones has scored at least one touchdown in three straight (four total), and he has a touchdown in six of his past eight outings (seven total). After failing to score in his first seven contests he is doing what fantasy owners expected of him when draft Jones as their No. 1 wide receiver. The Falcons finish up against the Buccaneers in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 8:17am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) will be active for the team's Week 16 game.

Huddle Up: Jones should receive his normal workload this week despite the injuries and can be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/22/2018 9:28pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) is trending in the right direction but remains a game-time decision against the Carolina Panthers in Week 16, according to a source.

Huddle Up: It's looking likely that Jones will be able to suit up, but fantasy owners should monitor the situation just to be safe.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 1:53pm ET

Updating previous reports, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Jones will be a game-time decision for the Week 16 game, so owners will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He is a must-start fantasy option when healthy, but owners should have other options available in case he sits out.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 10:27am ET

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) will be a game-time decision in Week 16, head coach Dan Quinn said Friday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: As usual, most signs point to Jones being able to play as he has all season, but his fantasy owners are going to need to check in Sunday morning and have a backup plan at the ready just in case.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 10:10am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) will not practice Thursday, Dec. 20, but will participate in the team's walkthrough, as per the team's design coming into the week head coach Dan Quinn said.

Huddle Up: Jones has continually played and delivered WR1 numbers despite missing a number of practices throughout the season, and he's a locked-in starter in championship week.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 2:41pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hip, ribs) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Huddle Up: Jones was likely just getting the veteran's mid-week rest to rest his bumps and bruises, which is pretty typical around the league. Circle back around Friday, as we'll have a better understanding where he is at health-wise heading into Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 4:12pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown on eight targets against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Jones faces the spiraling Carolina Panthers in Week 16, and he was held in check over his last three games vs. the Panthers, failing to score a touchdown in those contests. This version of Carolina's defense should make Jones a strong play.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 12:16pm ET

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (rib) has returned to the Week 15 game after missing some time because of a rib injury.

Huddle Up: Jones should be a weekly No. 1 receiver in all leagues as long as he is healthy.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 11:59am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (rib) suffered a rib injury during the Week 15 game and is considered questionable to return.

Huddle Up: Owners should monitor the situation to see if Jones will be able to return to the game. His availability likely will be determined by his pain tolerance. Jones is a must-start option when he is healthy.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 12:14pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (calf, foot, illness) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 14, but is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Jones has posted at least 100 yards in seven of the last eight games and should be a No. 1 fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 9:35am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (illness) returned to practice Friday, Dec. 14, after missing practice Thursday, Dec. 13. Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters he expects Jones to play in Week 15 versus the Arizona Cardinals.

Huddle Up: Jones barely practiced last week before exploding for two touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers, so he's capable of playing well without getting in much work during the week. While things to figure to be a little bit more difficult for him this week against shutdown corner Patrick Peterson, Jones needs to remain in playoff lineups. If for no other reason, Jones lines up in the slot on 21 percent of his snaps, while Peterson rarely ever moves inside.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 9:51am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (illness, foot, calf) was sent home from practice Thursday, Dec. 13, with an illness, head coach Dan Quinn said. Jones is expected to return Friday.

Huddle Up: Jones has missed a number of mid-week practices in recent seasons but has then played and put up big-time numbers on Sunday. And that's what Jones' fantasy owners are hoping for again in a Week 15 showdown with Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 2:46pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones racked up eight receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 11 targets in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers. It was his first multi-score game since Nov. 26, 2017 against Tampa Bay.

Huddle Up: Jones hit the century mark in yardage for the seventh time in eight games, but the touchdowns were what made it a big day. All five of his season's scores have come over the past six outings.

  • Posted: 12/7/2018 12:51pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 7, but is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Jones is coming off a disappointing Week 13 game but had posted at least 100 yards in the previous six games. He should have more success this week against the Green Bay Packers and will be a No. 1 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/7/2018 10:21am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) will play in Week 14 versus the Green Bay Packers despite missing practice time this week with a foot injury.

Huddle Up: This has been the expectation all week. While Jones is expected to line up across impressive rookie Jaire Alexander on occasion, the five-time Pro Bowler can pretty much get open against any defensive back in the league. Barring a late-week setback, owners should feel confident starting Jones this week.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 3:43pm ET

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) said Thursday, Dec. 6, he'll be 'ready to go' for the team's Week 14 game Sunday, Dec. 9, against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Jones was banged up last week during by far his worst performance of the season but it looks like the injury won't keep him sidelined. Despite the dud his last time out, the perennial WR1 is still worth deploying for what could be a high-scoring affair.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 10:16am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) sat out a second straight practice Thursday, Dec. 6, with a foot injury, but head coach Dan Quinn said he expects Jones to play in Week 14 vs. the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Keep an eye out on this situation the next few days, but this looks like good news for Jones' fantasy owners who are counting on a bounce-back week from the WR1 following his season-worst two-catch, 18-yard effort vs. the Ravens in Week 13.

  • Posted: 12/5/2018 1:27pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) was not able to practice Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Huddle Up: We've been through this enough with Jones to know that he can still play even if he doesn't practice all week. He does still have a couple days to get on the practice field, though, so keep him in those starting lineups as your WR1 for now.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 5:30pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught two of his eight targets for 18 yards in a 26-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Jones had topped 100 yards in his previous six games and hadn't been held below 62 receiving yards all year. Even the best in the business lay an occasional egg.

  • Posted: 11/22/2018 8:47pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught 11 of his 14 targets for 147 yards and gained one yard on one carry in a 31-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. He also lost a fumble.

Huddle Up: Jones was unable to find the end zone for a fourth straight game, but he did log his sixth straight 100-yard effort. He's one of the safest fantasy options at any position.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 2:14pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught six passes for 118 yards and one touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Jones has posted at least 100 yards in each of the last five games and is on a three-game touchdown streak. He should be a starting option in all leagues no matter the opponent.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 11:32pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 career receiving yards in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns, accomplishing the feat in 104 games. Calvin Johnson held the previous record, doing so in 115 games.

Huddle Up: Much like Johnson in his prime, Jones is a dominant force that defenses struggle to stop even when they shift coverage in his direction. His propensity for not scoring touchdowns as often as other elite receivers has slightly diminished his greatness in fantasy circles, but there is no question what he does for Atlanta plays a big role in the success of all of his teammates. Riding a two-game touchdown streak, owners should have no problem starting him in Week 11 versus the Dallas Cowboys.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 1:21pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught seven passes for 107 yards and one touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Jones posted his fourth straight 100-yard game and has caught a touchdown in each of the last two games. He should be a No. 1 receiver in all leagues next week.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 5:28pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught seven passes on 10 targets for 121 yards and a touchdown in a 38-14 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 9, ending a 12-game touchdown drought.

Huddle Up: Jones finally returned to the end zone, and while the lack of touchdowns hurts his upside a bit, he's still delivering for fantasy owners. Jones is on pace for a 1,866 receiving yards this year.

  • Posted: 10/22/2018 8:46pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones posted team highs with nine receptions and 104 yards in the Week 7 game against the New York Giants on Monday, Oct. 22, while he was targeted a game-high 12 times, but he failed to find the end zone again.

Huddle Up: Jones is second in the NFL in receiving yardage (812 yards) with 53 receptions and 81 targets, but he has failed to find the end zone in 12 regular-season games dating back to last season.

  • Posted: 10/15/2018 6:14am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones' 707 receiving yards are the most a player has had in the first six weeks without a touchdown in NFL history, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

Huddle Up: That zero hurts, but he still picked up at least 24 points in PPR leagues with his 10 grabs for 143 yards this week. He is actually performing better in the other categories because he's healthy. His 44 grabs for 707 yards are about half of what he did in 16 games last season in two fewer games. Keep running him out there as a WR1.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 7:45pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught 10 of his 14 targets for 143 yards in a 34-29 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Jones continues to pile up the yards, but he still hasn't found the end zone this year. He will face the solid secondary of the New York Giants in Week 7, but Jones should still put up strong numbers.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 1:43pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones caught five passes for 62 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.

Huddle Up: Jones did all of his damage in the fourth quarter but still had a decent performance against the Steelers. He should continue to be seen as a No. 1 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 10/5/2018 11:31am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (ankle, hand) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 5, but is not on the injury report for Week 5.

Huddle Up: Jones will be fine despite being limited and will have a favorable matchup this week. He should be considered a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 1:44pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hand, ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Oct. 4, after not practicing Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Huddle Up: Jones is an automatic start as long as he's active, but especially this week in what will assuredly be a high-flying affair with the Atlanta Falcons. Don't be surprised if Jones notches his first score of the year.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 3:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hand, ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Huddle Up: Jones probably will miss a few days of practice but should be ready to play in Week 5. He will have a favorable matchup this week and should be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 3:02pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones racked up nine receptions for 173 yards on 12 targets in Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: Jones made a solid day even better with a 49-yard grab on the final play of regulation in a Hail Mary situation, although he failed to find the end zone against for the fourth straight game. Despite the lack of touchdowns he remains an obvious fantasy stud heading into Week 5 in a head-to-head matchup with Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Steelers.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 2:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (calf) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Jones ranks sixth in the NFL with his 329 receiving yards but still has not been able to reach the end zone. He should continue to be seen as a No. 1 fantasy opponent no matter the opponent.

  • Posted: 9/26/2018 3:14pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (calf) did not take part in practice Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Huddle Up: Jones was likely being held out as a precaution, which is customary for veterans during mid-week practices, especially those who have been injury concerns in the past. Hopefully he used the time to figure out a way into the end zone, as fantasy owners are getting a bit antsy seeing that goose egg in the touchdown column heading into Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 4:44pm ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones posted five receptions for 96 yards on six targets in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, but he was held out of the end zone again.

Huddle Up: That's three games and no touchdowns for Jones. To make matters worse, rookie Calvin Ridley exploded for 146 yards and three scores in the OT loss, and Mohamed Sanu even got onto the board in Matt Ryan's career day. Jones remains an obvious WR1 in fantasy and he'll get his soon enough. The Falcons host the Bengals in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 9:29am ET

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (calf) is active and will play Sunday, Sept. 23, against the New Orleans Saints.

Huddle Up: This is a great spot for Jones, who is coming off a lackluster Week 2 (five catches for 64 yards on 9 targets). He has averaged 5.8 receptions and 89.2 yards with three TDs in 13 career games against the Saints.
