Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins has scored 24 touchdowns in 31 games since the start of the 2017 season.

Huddle Up: Hopkins has always been a productive receiver, but his numbers have seen a boost since the arrival of Deshaun Watson. He will be the focus of the Houston passing attack again in 2019, and he should be among the league leaders in most receiving categories. Hopkins is in the mix to be the first receiver selected in fantasy drafts.

  • Posted: 6/9/2019 10:06am ET

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins said Saturday, June 8, he endured a tough season in 2018 in which he had to deal with nagging pain from foot and shoulder injuries and overcome mental hurdles. 'Last year was tough, not just physically but mentally,' Hopkins told the Houston Chronicle. 'It's the most banged up I've ever been playing football. I was dealing with serious injuries a lot of people would have sat down for. But we had a good team that depended on me, and I never gave a thought to not playing unless the doctors told me I couldn't.'

Huddle Up: Hopkins still played in 17 games, including a playoff contest, and hit career highs with 115 receptions, 1,572 yards and a 70.6 catch percentage to finish as fantasy's fourth-ranked wideout. He's a no-doubt WR1 -- if not the top-ranked wide receiver -- in all formats for 2019.

Huddle Up: Hopkins set personal single-season marks for receptions (115) and yardage (1,572) and finished as the top wideout in PPR leagues and second in standard-scoring formats. He'll be one of the top non-RBs to come off the board in the drafts this summer.

  • Posted: 1/6/2019 9:24am ET

Houston Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins drew extensive praise Sunday, Jan. 6, in head coach Bill O'Brien's season-ending news conference. 'I don't think there was anybody better in the league,' O'Brien said. ' ... Every team knew that we were going to him on every play.'

Huddle Up: Hopkins set career highs in receptions (115), receiving yards (1,572) and catch percentage (70.6) in 2018 and was a top-six fantasy wideout for the third time in the last four seasons. The Texans have more weapons than ever if WRs Will Fuller, Demaryius Thomas and Keke Coutee are healthy, but Hopkins will continue to be an elite WR1.

Huddle Up: Hopkins is arguably the best wide receiver in the game but was held in check today by an underrated Colts defense.
