• Chris Herndon - TE
    Posted 1/9/19 10:50pm ET

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon pleaded guilty to DWI on Tuesday, Jan. 9, stemming from an incident this past June 2 when he crashed his SUV into another vehicle. Herndon will lose his license for 90 days as a result and is likely to be suspended by the NFL, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.

Huddle Up: Herndon enjoyed a solid rookie campaign and looks to be a player on the rise, but a suspension of any length could push him from late-round flier to watch list candidate in a hurry.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/30/18 1:26pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught three passes for 24 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 17.

Huddle Up: Anderson had a strong second half of the season despite his Week 17 performance and appears to have a good chemistry with Sam Darnold. He can be considered a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues next season.

  • Deontay Burnett - WR
    Posted 12/30/18 1:21pm ET

New York Jets WR Deontay Burnett caught five passes for 73 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 17.

Huddle Up: Burnett received a bigger role against the Patriots because of the injuries at the position and made the most out of the opportunity. He probably will have to compete for roster spot next season and can be avoided in most leagues.

  • Elijah McGuire - RB
    Posted 12/30/18 1:17pm ET

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire rushed for 41 yards on 18 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 17. He also caught two passes for 24 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: McGuire probably will not be the starting running back for the Jets next season but could be the No. 2 back. He could be a late-round option in deeper leagues next season if he receives around 10 touches per game.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/30/18 1:04pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold went 16-for-28 for 167 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 17. He also rushed for 28 yards on one carry during the game.

Huddle Up: Darnold played well at times this season and will finish the season with 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He likely will have a new head coach and offensive coordinator to work with next season but probably should only be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in 2019.

  • Chris Herndon - TE
    Posted 12/30/18 1:29pm ET

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon caught one pass for eight yards against the New England Patriots in Week 17.

Huddle Up: Herndon played well at times this season and should compete for the starting tight end job next season. He has a chance to be a No. 2 fantasy tight end in 2019 if he wins the starting job.

  • Quincy Enunwa - WR
    Posted 12/29/18 2:05pm ET

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Saturday, Dec. 29, and the team promoted WR J.J. Jones from the practice squad to the active roster. Enunway finished with 38 receptions, 449 yards and a touchdown across 11 games in 2018.

Huddle Up: Enunwa missed the final three games due to an ankle injury, but the team saw enough positive teams from him to grant an extension. He'll enter 2019 as one of the top targets in the pass game for Sam Darnold, but his fantasy appeal will be determined on offseason personnel moves and the draft.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/28/18 9:39am ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson should continue to serve as the team's No. 1 wideout with fellow WRs Quincy Enunwa (ankle) and Jermaine Kearse (Achilles) ruled out Friday, Dec. 28, for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Anderson is closing the season on fire with 20 receptions for 312 yards on 31 targets over the last three games with a touchdown in each contest. He's a strong WR2 play in Week 17.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/28/18 2:21pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Anderson has been the main option in the passing game this season and posted very good numbers over the last three weeks. He should continue to see a lot of targets and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in leagues.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/28/18 2:15pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Darnold has played well over the last several weeks but will be facing a solid New England Patriots defense this week. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but likely will be avoided in most standard leagues.

  • Chris Herndon - TE
    Posted 12/28/18 7:02pm ET

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon said his goal is to become a 'complete tight end' and plans to focus on improving his blocking in the offseason.

Huddle Up: Herndon has flashed some upside throughout his rookie campaign and has quickly developed into one of the more intriguing long-term fantasy prospects at the position. He's a also a worthwhile streaming option against the New England Patriots in Week 17.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/27/18 3:48pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Anderson has been targeted 30 times over the last three games and has posted at least 75 yards and one touchdown in each of those games. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all leagues this week.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/27/18 3:46pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Darnold is coming off one of his best games of the season and has thrown five touchdowns in the last two games. He could have some success against the New England Patriots but probably should only be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

  • Jermaine Kearse - WR
    Posted 12/26/18 2:26pm ET

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse (Achilles') was on the sideline for practice Wednesday, Dec. 26, as he was unable to participate.

Huddle Up: Kearse was banged up in the game last week against the Packers and it doesn't sound as if he'll be able to play. However, circle back Friday for his official injury designation. He had four grabs for 55 yards on four targets before his injury last week, making him worth a look as a WR5 when healthy.

  • Quincy Enunwa - WR
    Posted 12/26/18 2:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: Enunwa hasn't played since Dec. 9 and he hasn't visited the end zone since Week 1. Even if he is able to play in the regular-season finale he isn't a recommended fantasy option in any format or DFS play.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/26/18 2:21pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: Darnold appears to be fine for the regular-season finale against the Patriots, but he is still nothing more than a QB2 in seasonal fantasy leagues for Week 17.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/26/18 2:20pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle) took part in a full practice session Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: It appears Anderson will be able to play in the regular season finale, so use him as a WR4 or flex fantasy option against the Patriots in Week 17.

  • Elijah McGuire - RB
    Posted 12/25/18 2:43pm ET

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire has scored four touchdowns and averaged 79.6 total yards over the last three weeks while catching three passes in each contest.

Huddle Up: McGuire is an RB1 over his last three games and has held his own while taking over for Isaiah Crowell and Bilal Powell. His yards per carry (3.2) leave something to be desired, but his star is on the rise, especially if Powell leaves in free agency next offseason.

  • Quincy Enunwa - WR
    Posted 12/24/18 6:14am ET

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) has a 'slim chance' of playing in Week 17, according to head coach Todd Bowles.

Huddle Up: Robby Anderson busted out with a 9-140-1 line in Week 16, and he'll be a WR3 play against the New England Patriots.

  • Chris Herndon - TE
    Posted 12/23/18 6:40pm ET

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon caught six of his seven targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in a 44-38 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Herndon has flashed some potential this season. He is certainly worth a look as a streaming option against New England in Week 17, and he looks like a solid dynasty prospect at a painfully thin position.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/23/18 6:38pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught nine of his 13 targets for 140 yards and a touchdown in a 44-38 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Anderson has hit his stride down the stretch, topping 75 yards and scoring in each of the last three games. He should at least be good for WR3 production in the regular season finale against New England.

  • Elijah McGuire - RB
    Posted 12/23/18 6:35pm ET

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire rushed 14 times for 35 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown in a 44-38 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: McGuire has now topped 70 total yards and scored at least once in each of the last three games. Keep running him out there as a flex option to wrap up the season.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/23/18 6:43pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold completed 24 of his 35 passes for a career-high 341 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-38 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Although the Jets ended up losing, Darnold delivered what is probably his best performance so far. A strong finish to the year could help set the stage for a big leap out of him in 2019.

  • Charcandrick West - RB
    Posted 12/23/18 8:58pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West ran once for one yard and he added two grabs for 37 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Huddle Up: West hasn't been back with the team long, but he is obviously familiar with the system. He's behind Damien Williams, but as long as Spencer Ware is sidelined West could see a few touches in Week 17. He is still only worth a roster spot in the deepest of leagues deciding their championship in the final week of the regular season.

  • Charcandrick West - RB
    Posted 12/23/18 10:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Charcandrick West ran for a yard on his only carry but caught two of his three targets for 37 yards - including a 25-yard touchdown - in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Darrel Williams went out early with a hamstring injury, leaving West as the primary backup to Damien Williams. It didn't lead to many snaps, but luck was on his side when Patrick Mahomes rolled left and threw against his body to an open West cutting across the middle of the field. West isn't going to see much work barring an injury to Damien Williams moving forward, and this effort should pretty much be his fantasy ceiling.

  • Elijah McGuire - RB
    Posted 12/21/18 3:06pm ET

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire (ankle, quadriceps) practiced in full for a third straight day Friday, Dec. 21 and he is off the injury report ahead of the Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: McGuire is expected to handle a lion's share of the totes against the Pack, so he is a sneaky low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 16.

  • Jermaine Kearse - WR
    Posted 12/21/18 3:04pm ET

New York Jets WR Jermaine Kearse (calf) practiced in full for a third straight day Friday, Dec. 21 and he is off the injury report ahead of the Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Kearse finished up strong last season, but this season has been a lost campaign. He simply cannot be trusted heading into the penultimate game, even with the absence of Quincy Enunwa.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/21/18 3:02pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) practiced in full for a third straight day Friday, Dec. 21 and he is off the injury report heading into Week 16 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Darnold should be treated as a QB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into this head-to-head battle against Aaron Rodgers and the Pack, although he is a tremendous option in dynasty leagues heading into 2019 and beyond.

  • Robby Anderson - WR
    Posted 12/21/18 2:55pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle, back) practiced in full for the third straight day Friday, Dec. 21 and he is off the injury report ahead of the Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Anderson has come alive over the past two games posting 11 grabs for 172 yards and two touchdowns on 18 targets. He can be counted upon as a WR3 or flex fantasy play heading into Week 16.

  • Sam Darnold - QB
    Posted 12/20/18 10:42am ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold's late-season play is drawing good reviews from offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates. 'He's getting more comfortable,' Bates said Thursday, Dec. 21. 'He's playing faster, he's dissecting quicker, he's playing with confidence and he's having fun.'

Huddle Up: The rookie is coming off one of his best games of the season (253 yards, 2 TDs, no interceptions, season-high 35 rushing yards) in the Week 15 loss to the Houston Texans, and is a solid two-QB-league starting consideration this Sunday against the not-so-formidable Green Bay Packers.
