Mon, 01 Sep 2014 09:14:59 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (concussion) is on the practice field Monday, Sept. 1, but has not been cleared for contact or to play at this point.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should consider Welker as questionable for Week 1 but that could change if he is cleared. He likely would be at least a flex option if he plays, but owners should have another option ready if he sits out.

Sun, 24 Aug 2014 20:12:18 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (concussion) has a good chance to play in Week 1, according to Mike Klis of The Denver Post. Welker suffered a concussion in the team's third preseason game, but his "concussion helmet" helped absorb the blow.

Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (concussion) was in uniform and was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 25, but he's still a major question mark to play in Week 17 against the Oakland Raiders. "It was good to see him out there." Welker must be symptom-free for the team's medical staff and an independent physician before he can play.
