Washington Nationals 2B Stephen Drew (illness) was placed on the disabled list with vertigo-like symptoms Wednesday, July 27. In a corresponding move, 2B Wilmer Difo was recalled from Class AA Harrisburg.
Fantasy Tip: Drew and Difo are fantasy afterthoughts, but this move should strengthen the hold Trea Turner has on a super-utility role. Turner has started in center field the past two games, but he's also competent at the keystone and second base. He could also stick in the leadoff spot going forward and provide plenty of help in the runs and stolen bases columns. Turner is worth owning in all fantasy formats.

Washington Nationals 3B Anthony Rendon (illness) has been scratched from the lineup against Pittsburgh Pirates SP Chad Kuhl Sunday, July 17, because of flu-like symptoms. INF Stephen Drew will start at third base, with INF Trea Turner playing second base.
Fantasy Tip: Drew is batting .333 (6-for-18) during the month of July, while Turner is 4-for-11 at the MLB level this season. Both players should be viewed as productive sources of salary cap relief in daily fantasy games.

Updating a previous report, Washington Nationals 2B Daniel Murphy (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup against Pittsburgh Pirates SP Chad Kuhl Sunday, July 17. 1B Clint Robinson will bat fifth and play first base, while INF Stephen Drew will bat seventh and play second base.
Fantasy Tip: With 1B Ryan Zimmerman (rib cage) on the disabled list, Robinson is seeing the bulk of the action at first base but he should be viewed as a low-end option in the majority of fantasy formats. Drew is 6-for-18 (.333) during the month of July and makes a productive source of cap relief in DFS.
