Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia is hitting .295 (13-for-44) with a home run and five RBI in the month of May. He's currently riding a seven-game hitting streak in which he's batting .346 (9-for-26) with four RBI, and he has two hits in each of his last two games.
Fantasy Tip: Pedroia ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) is hitting .292 (38-for-130) on the season and has been one of the few steady bats in Boston's lineup to start the season. The Red Sox have been awful against lefties in 2015, and they're facing one in Seattle Mariners starter Roenis Elias Thursday night. Pedroia hasn't hit particularly well against lefties, either (.259/.394/.519), but while he's hot right now, he's a nice consideration at the keystone at FantasyScore.

Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia is not in the starting lineup Sunday, April 19.
Fantasy Tip: Pedroia ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) should return to the lineup when the team plays their next game. Brock Holt ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) will be starting at second base Sunday and could be a cheaper option for owners to consider since he is hitting .579.

Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia went 3-for-5 with two home runs and two RBI against the Philadelphia Phillies Monday, April 6.
Fantasy Tip: Pedroia ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) appears to be over the wrist injury he dealt with last season. He could be a nightly starting option on FantasyScore if he is able to stay healthy.

Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia (5-for-6 with a homer) and SS Xander Bogaerts (3-for-8 with two homers) are both raking early in spring. Bogaerts had a disappointing 2014 mainly due to struggles against a slider. His second homer this spring came against a slider, however. Bogaerts also struggled with poor plate discipline last year, walking just 6.6% of the time after walking 10.9% in Class AAA in 2013. Pedroia's power has dropped each year since 2011, when he hit a career-high 21 home runs.
Fantasy Tip: Pedroia and Bogaerts are both undervalued at their respective positions heading into 2015. Bogaerts is the more attractive upside pick with plenty of room for a rebound this season. Pedroia's declining power numbers in recent seasons are likely attributed to wrist and hand ailments. You can usually count on a solid average from the veteran, but his power could also rebound if he puts in a fully healthy season.

Boston Red Sox 2B Dustin Pedroia (wrist) has gone 5-for-6 through two spring training games with two runs, a home run and four RBI.
Fantasy Tip: After offseason wrist surgery, it appears Pedroia is proving his health early in spring training. While conclusions shouldn't be jumped to, it is an encouraging start for the 31-year-old veteran. Pedroia claims he is healthy and over the injury, and although a small sample size, the results confirm his stance. Expect Pedroia to be a popular bounce-back selection in the middle rounds on draft day, and if his solid spring continues, expect his fake stock to rise.
