Carolina Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin is "struggling with conditioning", according to head coach Ron Rivera, who added his goal is to see Benjamin be able to handle 30 to 35 snaps by the end of the preseason.
Fantasy Tip: It shouldn't come as a surprise that Benjamin isn't quite ready yet coming off of last year's ACL tear, but this is the kind of report that should sound off an alarm for owners hoping he will pick right back up where he left off as a rookie. Benjamin benefited from a lot of negative game scripts in 2014 and the Panthers have already hinted they plan to spread it around in the passing game, so owners should treat him as a high-risk WR2.

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said he will not rest his starters as long as their games have value and meaning. The Panthers could clinch home-field advantage in the playoffs if they win in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons, so the starters will play.
Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners shouldn't be worried about starting every-week Carolina players like Cam Newton and Greg Olsen. Even Ted Ginn is worth at least flex consideration in championship, and he could have good value on FantasyScore, too.

Carolina Panthers DE Charles X. Johnson was pulled in the fourth quarter of a blowout 38-0 win Sunday, Dec. 13. Johnson took to social media to vent his frustrations, and head coach Ron Rivera said he would speak with Johnson regarding the situation. Rivera understands Johnson's mindset, as Johnson is only three weeks removed from coming off the Reserve/Injured list and is itching to play. Rivera said he wants to make sure his players are healthy at this point in the season. He's not worried about the statistics.

Carolina Panthers WRs Ted Ginn Jr. and Corey Brown are considered the starting wide receivers at this point, according to head coach Ron Rivera.
Fantasy Tip: Ginn ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) and Brown ($2,000) may start but Devin Funchess ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) should also see significant play time in Week 1. Funchess likely is the only Panthers receiver that has fantasy value for Week 1 and could be an option on FantasyScore.
