Twins | Kurt Suzuki has potential suitors

Fri, 25 Jul 2014 09:46:50 -0700

Minnesota Twins C Kurt Suzuki is the subject of trade interest by several teams, including the Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Both lost big-name catchers in Matt Wieters (elbow) for the rest of the season and Yadier Molina (thumb) for at least a big chunk of the remainder. Suzuki would receive an upgrade at either potential destination and would be a valuable league-crosser, even with his BA likely to drop a little.

Fri, 13 Jun 2014 13:52:45 -0700

Minnesota Twins 2B Brian Dozier is getting a routine day off Friday, June 13. SS Eduardo Escobar will play second base and bat ninth, while C Kurt Suzuki hits second in the batting order.

Fantasy Tip: Remove Dozier from your daily lineups. He was removed from Wednesday's game early as a precaution, so this isn't a surprise with yesterday being an off day. All signs point to Ron Gardenhire trying to get Dozier a little extra rest.
