|Blue Jays | Jose Bautista likely back Monday|
Sun, 12 Jun 2016 15:20:34 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista (thigh) is expected to return to the starting lineup as the designated hitter Monday, June 13, against the Philadelphia Phillies, according to manager John Gibbons. Bautista has missed the last three games with right thigh tightness.
Fantasy Tip: Coincidently, Toronto scored 25 runs and took of its last three games against the Baltimore Orioles while Bautista was away. The six-time All-Star appeared to be finding a groove at the plate before his injury with a pair of multi-hit games, but he is still batting only .234 on the season. Regardless, get Bautista back in lineups beginning with Monday's game versus the Philadelphia Phillies.

|Blue Jays | Devon Travis still has shoulder pain|
Sat, 08 Aug 2015 12:39:06 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays 2B Devon Travis (shoulder) is not expected to be activated from the disabled list when he is eligible to return to action Thursday, Aug. 13. According to manager John Gibbons, Travis is still experiencing discomfort in his left shoulder and it is uncertain when he will be ready to begin a minor league rehab assignment.
Fantasy Tip: Travis ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) is batting .304 with eight home runs and 35 RBIs through 62 games this season and should remain stashed in all formats. Ryan Goins ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) will continue to see the bulk of the playing time at the keystone position for the Jays but doesn't have much value outside of AL-only and deep mixed leagues.

|Blue Jays | Drew Hutchison says everything is OK|
Sun, 10 May 2015 14:11:10 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays SP Drew Hutchison told media everything is fine despite not making it past the fifth inning in three of his seven starts. Blue Jays manager John Gibbons also said there was nothing physical wrong with Hutchison.
Fantasy Tip: Hutchison ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has gotten off to a slow start this season but appears to be stabilizing his game. Still, keep an eye on his matchups and don't hesitate to go elsewhere if you suspect one matchup could give Hutchison trouble.

|Blue Jays | Dioner Navarro has knee issue|
Tue, 10 Mar 2015 12:36:26 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Navarro's at-bats may take a dive with Russell Martin behind the plate in Toronto, although his fantasy value may increase as a designated hitter. For now, Navarro is a late-round flyer in AL leagues.
