Fantasy Tip: Goldschmidt is a big loss to fantasy lineups, and his season could be over with less than two months to go. Jordan Pacheco is playing first base Saturday, Aug. 2, but Mark Trumbo could see time there as well. Pacheco and Marte are NL-only adds.

Fantasy Tip: Trumbo's first season in the desert has been a nightmare, as he has struggled with injuries and inconsistency all season. At this point, he should only be active in deeper NL-only fantasy leagues until he starts to show signs of life at the plate.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF Mark Trumbo (foot) was activated from the 15-day disabled list Friday, July 11, and OF Roger Kieschnick was optioned to Triple-A Reno in a corresponding move.

Fantasy Tip: The Snakes may choose to ease Trumbo back right before the All-Star break, but if he's in Arizona's starting lineup, he should be in yours, too. His return likely means less playing time for Cody Ross, Ender Inciarte and maybe even Gerardo Parra in the long term.
