Fantasy Tip: Granderson ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) likely is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Cuddyer ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) is hitting .111 with two RBI over the last seven days and may not be the best option.

Mets | Regulars resting for the Mets

Sun, 27 Sep 2015 07:23:12 -0700

New York Mets OFs Yoenis Cespedes, Curtis Granderson and Michael Cuddyer, C, Travis d'Arnaud, 1B Lucas Duda, 2B Daniel Murphy and 3B David Wright are not in the starting lineup against the Cincinnati Reds Sunday, Sept. 27.

Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore players should view the Mets as extremely risky starts in contests Sunday. Although it may be tempting to start Kyevius Sampson ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) against a low-upside lineup, he owns a 6.45 ERA through 11 appearances this season and still carries significant risk.

Mets | Curtis Granderson drives in four

New York Mets OF Curtis Granderson went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, four RBI and two runs scored in a 12-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds Friday, Sept. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Granderson ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) had managed just four hits and no RBI in his previous eight games, but Friday's performance was a reminder of his upside. He is a high-risk, high-reward play at FantasyScore, but he can be an X-factor for a lineup on the right night.

Mets | Curtis Granderson not starting Sunday

Sun, 20 Sep 2015 13:24:12 -0700

New York Mets OF Curtis Granderson is not in the starting lineup Sunday, Sept. 20. OF Juan Lagares is in center field and batting eighth against New York Yankees SP CC Sabathia.

Fantasy Tip: Granderson ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) appears to be the victim of a lefty vs. lefty matchup as he hits a horrid .165 against lefties. Lagares ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is a perfect 3-for-3 against Sabathia, so he may be a decent source of lower-cost points.

Mets | Three Mets lefties benched Wednesday

Wed, 16 Sep 2015 12:33:46 -0700

New York Mets OF Curtis Granderson, 2B Daniel Murphy and 1B Lucas Duda are all out of the lineup against Miami Marlins left-handed SP Adam Conley Wednesday, Sept. 16. OF Juan Lagares is leading off and playing center field, 3B Juan Uribe is starting at second and hitting cleanup and 3B Eric Campbell is starting at first base and batting eighth.

Fantasy Tip: All three replacements are nothing more than sleeper picks on FantasyScore today, but Lagares ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) and Uribe ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) could be useful against the hittable Conley if you're looking to save money elsewhere. Lagares is hitting .288 (32-for-111) with three of his six homers against lefties and Uribe has similar numbers against southpaws. Campbell ($1,700, 3.4% of cap) should be ignored.
