Marlins | Logan Morrison traded

Wed, 11 Dec 2013 12:13:10 -0800

The Miami Marlins traded 1B Logan Morrison to the Seattle Mariners Wednesday, Dec. 11, in exchange for RP Carter Capps.

Fantasy Tip: Capps has the skills to pitch in the ninth but will fall into a setup role to Steve Cishek. Garrett Jones will take over full time at first base for Morrison. Moving to a pitcher-friendly environment lowers Jones' power impact, which has been his main contributing factor to fantasy owners.
