Texas Rangers OF Shin-Soo Choo (elbow) received an anti-inflammatory injection for his lingering elbow soreness Thursday, March 13, but remained in the lineup as the designated hitter. "This happens every spring training," Choo said. "It's the same problem, the same pain. Normally, it takes about 10 days, I take medicine. I DH. I get treatment. It makes it better."
Fantasy Tip: Choo wouldn't be out there playing the same day he received a shot if this was a serious issue. Choo should be fine for the regular season opener unless the shot doesn't cure the soreness and it becomes something else entirely.
