Packers | Aaron Rodgers may play

Tue, 23 Aug 2016 08:16:08 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers could play in the third preseason game, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers shouldn't need to see much game action this preseason in order to be ready. Rodgers should be one of the top quarterbacks in all drafts.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson to do work

Sat, 20 Aug 2016 11:24:32 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and WR Jordy Nelson (knee) will work one-on-one as much as they can in practice Monday, Aug. 22, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. It will be Nelson's first practice of the offseason and he will be limited to individual drills. It is still unclear whether or not Nelson will play this preseason.

Fantasy Tip: Finally, Nelson is practicing. He has some catching up to do, but he's already familiar with the offense and should be focused on getting to full health before Week 1. Even coming off a serious injury, Nelson is a fringe WR1 with optimal value in standard formats.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers resting again

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 15:46:48 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (rest) won't play in the team's preseason game Thursday, August 18, against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers also didn't suit up for the preseason opener, but there's no concern, as he's merely being rested. As is always the case, Rodgers will be entering the new season as one of the game's top signal-callers. He should be one of the first quarterbacks taken off the board.

Packers | Brett Hundley expected to play

Wed, 17 Aug 2016 19:14:45 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Brett Hundley (ankle) is expected to play in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 18, against the Oakland Raiders after missing the past two weeks due to an ankle injury. He might start if QB Aaron Rodgers is rested again.

Fantasy Tip: Hundley, the former UCLA standout, is expected to be the primary backup in Titletown, and he has a bright future in the league. However, he has no fantasy appeal unless disaster strikes and knocks Rodgers out for a long period of time.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers to sit vs. Raiders?

Tue, 16 Aug 2016 21:31:26 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been taking primarily scout-team reps in practice and may not play against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday, Aug. 18.

Fantasy Tip: It'd be a bit surprising if Rodgers doesn't see at least a little action this week, given he'll almost certainly sit out on the final preseason game, but the veteran has proven he doesn't need much work to come out firing. Either way, he's a high-end No. 1 quarterback come Week 1.

Packers | Green Bay resting two top QBs

Fri, 12 Aug 2016 14:20:17 -0700

Green Bay Packers QBs Aaron Rodgers and Brett Hundley will not play in the preseason game against the Cleveland Browns Friday, Aug. 12. QB Joe Callahan will be the starting quarterback for the Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers likely will not see much work during the preseason since the team wants him ready for the regular season. He should be a solid No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.

Packers | Joe Callahan to start Sunday

Sun, 07 Aug 2016 08:21:05 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Joe Callahan will start the preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, Aug. 7. QBs Aaron Rodgers and Brett Hundley will not play in the game.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers may sit Hall of Fame Game

Fri, 05 Aug 2016 11:11:19 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (rest) was given the night off from practice Thursday, August 4, by head coach Mike McCarthy, which is a "telltale sign" he will not play in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday, August 7.

Fantasy Tip: There's no need to panic if you already own Rogers, as this has absolutely nothing to do with injury. In last year's Hall of Fame Game, the two starting quarterbacks involved, Ben Roethlisberger and Teddy Bridgewater, did not play either, so it's just a standard practice if Rodgers does not participate.

Packers | Jeff Janis receiving high-level education

Sat, 30 Jul 2016 15:32:30 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Jeff Janis has been a pet project of sorts for QB Aaron Rodgers early in training camp, according to quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt. "Working with the young receivers, (Rodgers has been) great. He'll go over after his set of reps and talk through it with them, especially with Jeff (Janis). They're getting a good relationship now, working together and talking about what they expect from each other," Van Pelt said.

Fantasy Tip: Janis is fighting with Davante Adams for the No. 3 job behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. It has been a fantasy-relevant position for some time in Green Bay and has taken on added importance with Nelson dealing with tendinitis in his non-surgically repaired left knee at the moment. Janis is an athletic freak who has reportedly struggled early in camp, but this kind of report lends support to the possibility he may be on the verge of breaking out soon. He's well worth a gamble in the final rounds on draft day.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers talks weight loss

Tue, 26 Jul 2016 10:20:20 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said he weighs less than he has in a long time, but his muscle mass is as strong as it was when he was 10 pounds heavier.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers remains an elite fantasy quarterback worth selecting as one of the first signal callers in drafts. It's likely not worth reading too much into his weight, but a commitment to health and being at his best entering his age-32 season is encouraging for his likelihood to live up to expectations in 2016.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers in great shape

Mon, 25 Jul 2016 11:09:29 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is in the best shape of his football career, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Rodgers stopped eating dairy this offseason as part of a more stringent diet.

Fantasy Tip: A healthy Aaron Rodgers is a good Aaron Rodgers. Not only is he in good shape, but he'll have his top receiver back in Jordy Nelson. As is the case in most seasons, Rodgers should be one of the first quarterbacks taken in fantasy drafts.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers, others excused

Tue, 14 Jun 2016 09:23:25 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and other select veterans have been excused from mandatory minicamp this week by head coach Mike McCarthy. WRs Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson were also included in that group. "The approach is different than the past," McCarthy said. "So, it's obviously tailored toward the younger players." QB Brett Hundley will get most of the work with what is left of the No. 1 offense.

Fantasy Tip: The Packers are playing in the Hall of Fame Game this preseason, so their training camp will begin a week earlier in July than it did a year ago. McCarthy wants to make sure his veterans are well rested. Rodgers remains an elite fantasy QB worth taking in the early rounds, especially since he'll have a healthy Nelson to throw to in 2016.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers changes diet

Mon, 06 Jun 2016 16:24:59 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said he has removed dairy from his diet in hopes that it will help him stay healthy and extend his career. He said he weighs around 218 pounds at this point, which is his lightest weight since 2007. "I think that's how I can extend my career, if I can eat a little bit better. Because it carries over not just in the offseason, but what you're eating the night before the game and what you're eating in the morning and the afternoon if it's a night game just how that it affects your performance," Rodgers said.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers finished the 2015 season with 3,821 yards and 31 touchdowns and will have Jordy Nelson back from his injury. Rodgers should be a No. 1 quarterback in all leagues as long as he stays healthy.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers recovering nicely

Wed, 23 Mar 2016 09:15:52 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) is on track to work out with minimal limitations during the start of the offseason program next month after having offseason knee surgery. His recovery has gone off without any setbacks, and he's "running around," according to a source at the NFL annual meetings. Rodgers' surgery was "just a cleanup," and head coach Mike McCarthy doesn't think Rodgers will be limited this offseason.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers was a disappointment to his fantasy owners last year, but a lot had to do with the fact that he lost Jordy Nelson, his top target, before the season even started. With Nelson coming back, expect Rodgers and Co. to improve in 2016. Rodgers remains a top-tier QB1 that could come at a slight discount.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers will be ready

Thu, 25 Feb 2016 11:09:22 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) is expected to be ready for offseason training activities (OTAs) after having a knee scope, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers had a down season in 2015, and it was mainly effected when the Packers lost Jordy Nelson to a serious knee injury in the preseason. Green Bay's offense never took off. With a healthy Nelson back in 2016, expect Rodgers and Co. to bounce-back. He remains an elite QB1.

Packers | Green Bay to add tight end?

Mon, 15 Feb 2016 11:22:10 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers could have a new tight end with some speed this offseason, according to ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky.

Fantasy Tip: Tight end has been somewhat of a weak position for the Packers in recent years. Richard Rodgers held his own in 2015, but Rodgers does need help, even if/when Jordy Nelson makes a full recovery. If the Packers do sign a tight end, Richard Rodgers' fantasy value would be negatively impacted.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers feeling great

Sat, 13 Feb 2016 10:53:05 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) said his knee feels great less than a month after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery. Rodgers added that the surgery was for a clean-up of an old injury.

Fantasy Tip: The fact that Rodgers is playing golf this weekend indicates that he's recovering well from the injury and surgery. He should be good to go for offseason activities if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. As is the case every year when he's healthy, he's a top-tier QB1 for fantasy drafts.

Packers | Scott Tolzien looking for chance to start

Thu, 04 Feb 2016 09:53:32 -0800

Green Bay Packers backup QB Scott Tolzien, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March of 2016, has expressed his desire to become a starter in 2016. The Packers drafted QB Brett Hundley in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft to be QB Aaron Rodgers' long-term backup.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers had knee surgery

Fri, 29 Jan 2016 21:09:31 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) had knee surgery following the loss to the Arizona Cardinals in the divisional round of the playoffs, but he said he is "doing well" and "recovering on schedule."

Fantasy Tip: It doesn't sound like Rodgers is in jeopardy of missing the start of next season, and with Jordy Nelson back in the fold, Rodgers should once again be among the top fantasy options at the quarterback spot.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers injured

Wed, 20 Jan 2016 14:37:57 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (undisclosed) will not participate in the Pro Bowl due to an undisclosed injury. Rodgers is being replaced by Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr.

Fantasy Tip: Not much can be hurting more than Rodgers' pride, especially after a Hail Mary touchdown to tie the game, only to be thwarted by a controversial coin toss and game-sealing touchdown by the Cardinals last weekend. Rodgers will have Jordy Nelson back next season, which will greatly help the offense as a whole. He's still a top-tier fantasy quarterback heading into 2016.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers not good against blitz

Fri, 15 Jan 2016 10:39:08 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ranked just 24th in the league against blitzes this year, with a passer rating of 82.4, which was his worst mark against the blitz in his career. The Arizona Cardinals blitz on 44.5% of all opponents' passing plays.

Fantasy Tip: No matter how you slice it, this matchup will be a tough one for Rodgers ($8,700, 17.4% of cap) and the Green Bay offense, especially with Davante Adams likely out. Green Bay's offense has been disappointing for much of the year, and they probably won't look as good as they did in the wild-card round. Rodgers is a big risk on FantasyScore.

Packers | Sacks an issue for Green Bay

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 15:44:57 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was sacked eight times in the last matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, and QB Scott Tolzien was also sacked once. The Cardinals had 26% of their sacks on the year in the game against Green Bay. No team allowed more sacks than the Packers this year (33) from Week 9 through the end of the season.

Fantasy Tip: The Cardinals love to blitz, and with a shaky offensive line, Rodgers ($8,700, 17.4% of cap) could be under pressure all day. It's hard to justify paying up for him during this disappointing season against one of the all-around strongest defenses in the NFL.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers looks good in win

Sun, 10 Jan 2016 18:31:59 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 21 of his 36 pass attempts for 210 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the NFC Wild Card Game win against the Washington Redskins Sunday, Jan. 10.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers had more time, as he was sacked just once. Next week the Packers move on to face the Arizona Cardinals. Rodgers and the Packers will look for revenge after getting embarrassed 38-8 in Arizona in Week 16.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers to take more risks?

Fri, 08 Jan 2016 09:43:02 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy have noticeably not been on the same page a lot during the 2015 season, but Rodgers said any differences he's had with McCarthy were healthy and didn't factor into the offense's disappointment this year. "This is the most frustrated I've ever seen him," McCarthy said.

Rodgers feels that he may need to take more risks to ignite the offense heading into the playoffs after their offense finished the year 23rd in yards and 15th in points after never finishing outside the top 10 in scoring and only once in yards in Rodgers' previous seven seasons. "Whatever it takes to win," Rodgers said. "At this point we haven't been very consistent in any capacity on offense, so if it means being a little riskier with the ball with a bigger reward on the back end, that's something you've got to think about."

Fantasy Tip: Taking a chance on Rodgers ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) on wild-card weekend could be a winning strategy. Because of the ineffectiveness of Green Bay's offense this year, many will stray from him. However, the Washington Redskins secondary can be exploited by Rodgers and Co., so choosing him on FantasyScore could set you apart.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers' disappointing season

Wed, 06 Jan 2016 15:09:00 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers didn't have a quarterback rating over 100 for the final 10 games of the season, and he completed just 57.2% of his passes, averaged just 5.97 yards per attempt, was sacked 35 times and had a passer rating of 81.9 in the final 10 games. He finished the year with the lowest passer rating (92.7), completion percentage (60.7%) and yards per attempt (6.68) in his eight years. Rodgers was also sacked 46 times, the second most in his career and second most this season.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) didn't perform up to his draft placement this year as an elite QB1. However, he could be useful as a contrarian play on wild-card weekend at FantasyScore, as the Washington Redskins were a top-10 fantasy matchup for QBs in 2015.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers pressured in loss

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 22:19:51 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 28 of his 44 pass attempts for 291 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He ran three times for 12 yards and was sacked five times.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers has been pressured over the past couple of games with the offensive line dinged up. He'll face a solid Washington Redskins pass defense on the road next Sunday, but he is still a good FantasyScore option due to his ability to escape and make things happen.

Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater improving

Thu, 31 Dec 2015 09:09:40 -0800

Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater has thrown six touchdowns and no interceptions in the last three games to achieve the second highest passer rating (154.4) in the league in that span when throwing 15-plus yards down the field. In comparison, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has just four touchdowns and two interceptions and has a passer rating below 100.0 in nine straight games.

Fantasy Tip: The Packers are around middle of the pack defending against quarterbacks this year and have stiffened in the last several weeks. Playing in Green Bay won't be easy for Bridgewater ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) with a division title on the line, either. Temper your expectations in this one.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers worked over by Cards

Sun, 27 Dec 2015 20:35:36 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 15 of 28 pass attempts for 151 yards, one touchdown and one interception and he was sacked eight times in the Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He also lost a pair of fumbles which were scooped up and returned for touchdowns.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers was battered and bruised, killing fantasy owners in their championship games in the process. He faces another tough defense in Week 17 when the Minnesota Vikings come calling.

Packers | Mediocre showing from Aaron Rodgers

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 17:42:36 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of 39 passes for 204 yards, a touchdown and an interception in a 30-20 win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers has been held to less than 220 yards in four of his last five games, and he hasn't thrown more than two touchdowns in six straight. With all the injuries to his offensive line and receiving corps, he isn't putting up the elite numbers he typically provides.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers excelled on play action

Tue, 15 Dec 2015 15:44:23 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was 10-for-12 (85.7 completion percentage) for 115 yards, two touchdowns and a 140.5 passer rating in play-action passes in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys, which were all season highs.

Fantasy Tip: It's not a coincidence that the Packers had their best offensive showing of the year when Mike McCarthy took back the play-calling duties. The momentum could easily carry into Week 15 against the Oakland Raiders on the road. Rodgers will be a solid quarterback selection on FantasyScore.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers has solid outing

Thu, 03 Dec 2015 22:29:37 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers went 24-for-36 for 273 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Detroit Lions in Week 13.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers has posted solid numbers over the last several weeks and has thrown 11 touchdowns in his last five games. He will be facing the Dallas Cowboys next week and could be a solid starting option for owners.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers' slump could continue

Tue, 01 Dec 2015 20:49:57 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers faces the Detroit Lions in Week 13, and Rodgers completed 35 of his 61 pass attempts for 333 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions in Week 10.

Fantasy Tip: Although Rodgers ($8,500, 17.0% of cap) salvaged a respectable line with a couple of late touchdowns, the offense was out of sync most of the game. Given that the Lions have been playing better and the Packers' offensive struggles have only gotten worse the last few weeks, Rodgers is a very risky option at FantasyScore at his price.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers lost feeling in hand

Fri, 27 Nov 2015 14:30:07 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (hand) said he lost feeling in his hand after taking a hit in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears Thursday, Nov. 26. "I lost feeling in my hand for a good portion of the game there in the third quarter (and) fourth quarter," Rodgers said. "I'm waiting to get it back in a couple of fingers, but it's OK in the first three." Rodgers didn't miss any snaps in the game but was forced to hand the ball off with his opposite hand. He doesn't expect it to be a lingering issue with his left hand.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers had another weak performance on Thanksgiving, barely throwing for 200 yards with a touchdown and interception. At a typically high daily price, until he makes corrections with his receivers to improve production, he's not an attractive pick.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers struggling with receiver

Fri, 27 Nov 2015 06:09:18 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is 15-for-35 (42.9%) for 129 yards, no touchdowns and one interception on throws to WR Davante Adams the last three weeks. Rodgers is 58-for-103 (56.3%) for 618 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions to everyone else.

Fantasy Tip: Expect the tandem to work in practice and shore things up before facing the Detroit Lions next Thursday. Adams is seeing a ton of targets, and sooner than later he's going to start converting on them.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers, passing game struggling

Fri, 27 Nov 2015 04:58:22 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was just 22-for-42 for 202 yards with a touchdown and interception in the Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears Thursday, Nov. 26, and he continued to struggle with his chemistry and timing with his receivers. Green Bay's receivers continued to struggle with press coverage and drops. WR James Jones had zero catches on six targets and WR Davante Adams had just two grabs on 11 targets.

Fantasy Tip: The Packers running game and Eddie Lacy looked good for the second straight week, but the passing game continues to struggle. The lack of speed in Rodgers' aerial targets is killing them. Right now, no daily gamer will want to pay up for Rodgers or his receivers.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers returns to game

Thu, 26 Nov 2015 20:06:52 -0800

Updating a previous story, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (arm) returned against the Chicago Bears in Week 12 after having his arm examined by trainers.

Fantasy Tip: After appearing to be in pain when he left the field, Rodgers was able to return for the Packers' following possession. It looks like he dodged a serious injury.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (arm) is being looked at by trainers on the sidelined after being hit in his left arm in the third quarter against the Chicago Bears in Week 12.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers should play

Fri, 20 Nov 2015 13:01:08 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 20, and is listed as probable for the Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers did not practice Friday, so his practice designation is an estimate.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) has thrown for at least 300 yards in each of the last three games and has six touchdowns and one interception over that span. He will be facing a tough Vikings defense this week but should still be a solid starting option.

Packers | Full practice for Aaron Rodgers

Thu, 19 Nov 2015 15:40:42 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 19, after being limited Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Fantasy Tip: There are no real concerns about Rodgers' ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) health, and he'll start in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings. However, he'll take up a big chunk of your salary on FantasyScore for a guy that has been struggling mightily of late in this stagnant offense. Paying up for him at this time isn't recommended.

Packers | No concerns for Aaron Rodgers

Thu, 19 Nov 2015 09:12:26 -0800

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) will be fine for Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, and head coach Mike McCarthy has "no concerns" about Rodgers' availability.

Fantasy Tip: With a stagnant running game and slow receivers, Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) has looked entirely human during the team's three-game losing streak. You'll probably want to stay away from his high FantasyScore salary until Green Bay shows signs of breaking out of their offensive funk.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers expected to play

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 14:47:40 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings. Both he and head coach Mike McCarthy downplayed the significance of his injury. "I'm just going to keep playing the way I'm playing. Hopefully I'll be a little more efficient this week and sustain drives (and) score touchdowns in the red zone," Rodgers said.

Fantasy Tip: Perhaps this helps explain why Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) hasn't exactly been himself during the team's three-game losing streak. It's not all on Rodgers; the running game has been stagnant and his receivers aren't stepping up without Jordy Nelson. The matchup against the Vikes this weekend won't be easy, either. It's a high price to pay on FantasyScore the way Green Bay's offense has looked of late.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers has limited practice

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 14:34:38 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 18, with a right shoulder injury.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) has been unusually inaccurate of late, perhaps partially due to this throwing shoulder injury. It doesn't seem like too big of a concern, but his status should be tracked before Week 11's contest against the Minnesota Vikings.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers banged up

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 11:34:01 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (undisclosed) is "banged up," according to head coach Mike McCarthy.

Fantasy Tip: This probably isn't a big deal for Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) as most players are banged up after 10 weeks. The Minnesota Vikings have been good against opposing QBs the last five weeks. Rodgers torched them for 365 yards, a 67.4% completion rate and five touchdowns to no picks last season. He's a weekly consideration on FantasyScore.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers struggling under pressure

Wed, 18 Nov 2015 10:48:42 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' completion percentage and passer rating against blitzes this year has dropped from 63.0 and 106.1 in the first six games to 45.2 and 64.6, respectively, in the last three games. He has fallen into bad habits of failing to set his feet even when he has enough time, and his slow group of receivers without WR Jordy Nelson hasn't helped matters.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) has fallen into mediocrity of late, and he's also getting zero help from his running game. Things won't get any easier this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. At that high price on FantasyScore, it's wise to stay away for now.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers less efficient

Tue, 17 Nov 2015 15:42:34 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has completed only 48.8% of his passes to his wide receivers during the team's three-game losing streak. Before the streak, he was completing 70% of his passes in Green Bay's 6-0 start.

Fantasy Tip: The ground game in Green Bay hasn't helped Rodgers' ($8,800, 17.6% cap) cause, and the receivers beside Randall Cobb have been extremely inconsistent of late. The lack of breakaway speed in the absence of Jordy Nelson is a real factor. Don't expect things to suddenly change in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings and their solid D. It's hard to justify clicking on Rodgers right now for such a high price.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers shaky down the stretch

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 14:57:56 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw for 333 yards Sunday, Nov. 15, in an 18-16 loss to the Detroit Lions. He threw 26 incompletions in 61 attempts, however, and his touchdowns didn't come until late in the fourth quarter.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) can't shoulder all of the blame as his receivers dropped a lot of passes, and the team missed the two-point conversion that would have tied the game. Still, this wasn't one of Rodgers' best outings.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers owns Lions

Sat, 14 Nov 2015 11:58:33 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has a touchdown to interception ratio of 22 to 5 and a record of 10 and 4 in 14 career games against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Tip: The Packers are riding a two-game losing streak, and Rodgers ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) and company will be primed for a divisional showdown at home. He may be expensive on FantasyScore, but he's still worth the investment in what could end up being one of his best games of the season.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers rebounds

Sun, 08 Nov 2015 14:28:20 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw for 369 yards and four touchdown passes in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers after a 77-yard effort in Week 8. Rodgers tossed his third interception of the season Sunday, Oct. 8, at the Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: It's hard to believe, but this was just the second 300-yard game of the year for Rodgers. Nevertheless, he's a weekly start in all of fantasy.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers struggles mightily

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 22:23:14 -0800

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 14 of his 22 pass attempts for just 77 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos. He ran twice for 31 yards.

Fantasy Tip: The struggles for Rodgers ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) were uncharacteristic, and the Denver secondary just did that good of a job taking away the deep stuff and forcing short routes only.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers struggling with deep ball

Mon, 26 Oct 2015 13:25:45 -0700

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ranks 18th in the league in passing yards and has completed only three passes that have gone more than 30 yards downfield this year, according to ESPN Stats and Information.

Fantasy Tip: The expected return of Davante Adams in Week 8 should help Rodgers be more successful in stretching the field. However, the Broncos are one of the toughest teams to pass against, which means most folks will be looking to fade Rodgers on FantasyScore with a high salary.
