After receiving a $5 million tax credit on June 1 for cutting OL David Baas in March, the New York Giants have just over $7 million to spend on fine-tuning the roster. A total of 91 players are currently under contract for the Giants, with a team cap of $124.98 million.

The New York Giants will need to pay specific attention to the offensive line in free agency, speculates ESPN.com's Dan Graziano. The team is likely to cut OL Chris Snee and C David Baas and could let OL Kevin Boothe walk in free agency. They will also need to replace OT David Diehl, who retired this offseason. Graziano believes with all of these changes, the team will not be able to wait until the draft to retool, and therefore must be active in free agency to replace these players.
