Cubs | Justin Ruggiano to DL

Thu, 24 Apr 2014 09:04:13 -0700

Fantasy Tip: Ruggiano had been in a platoon in right field with Nate Schierholtz. Schierholtz should now see more consistent playing time, with Ryan Kalish and Ryan Sweeney as options to spell him if needed. Schierholtz deserves a look in very deep mixed leagues.

Chicago Cubs 3B Mike Olt and OF Junior Lake are receiving starts against a right-handed pitcher Thursday, April 10. "We're trying to find spots that can give them an opportunity to gain some confidence." OFs Ryan Sweeney and Nate Schierholtz are batting .174 and .118 respectively against righties this year.
