Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez might be on the trade market this offseason, but new general manager Jeff Bridich is still unsure if the team will move forward and sell either one of them. "They're marquee guys," Bridich said. "It's the best shortstop in the game when healthy, and it's arguably the best left fielder in the game when healthy. The recognition of that type of talent makes it tough to swallow the pill of wanting to trade these guys." Gonzalez is owed $53 million over the next three years, and Tulowitzki is guaranteed $118 million through 2020.

Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki (hip) will have labral repair surgery on his left hip Friday, Aug. 15 in Vail, Colo. and he will miss the remainder of the season.
Fantasy Tip: It's a shame for Tulowitzki and his fantasy owners, as he was having a fine season prior to this injury. Tulo wraps up his 2014 season with a .340 average, 21 home runs, 52 RBIs and a career-high 1.035 OPS in 91 games. However, he has now failed to play more than 126 games in four of his past five seasons. He is a fantasy giant when he is healthy, but over the past few years he has been very brittle. Josh Rutledge will be an everyday player down the stretch, and is a nice option in most fantasy formats.
