Blue Jays | Troy Tulowitzki resting

Thu, 13 Aug 2015 09:19:01 -0700

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki is sitting out Thursday, Aug. 13, with OF Ben Revere hitting leadoff.

Fantasy Tip: Revere ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) faces off against Jesse Chavez, which is a so-so matchup. Revere is hitting .184 this month and is a little too one-dimensional to trust on FantasyScore.

Blue Jays | Ben Revere down to ninth

Sun, 02 Aug 2015 08:24:08 -0700

Toronto Blue Jays OF Ben Revere will hit ninth in the order Sunday, Aug. 2, against the Kansas City Royals and RHP Edinson Volquez, while SS Troy Tulowitzki returns to the leadoff position.

Fantasy Tip: Revere ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) went 0-for-5 in his Blue Jays debut, but he'll now be in a position to hit in front of the like of Tulo and Josh Donaldson. As long as Revere can start getting on base, is fantasy value will soar.

Blue Jays | Troy Tulowitzki out of the lineup

Sat, 01 Aug 2015 09:14:20 -0700

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki is not in the starting lineup against Kansas City Royals SP Yordano Ventura Saturday, Aug. 1. 2B Ryan Goins will start at shortstop and is batting ninth in the lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) probably will return to the lineup in the next day. Goins ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) has three hits in his last five games and probably should be avoided by owners on FantasyScore.

Blue Jays | Troy Tulowitzki wows in debut

Wed, 29 Jul 2015 18:54:42 -0700

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki excelled in his debut with the club Wednesday, July 29, against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Fantasy Tip: Tulo ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) hit a home run in his second at-bat of the game, and he finished 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs scored and three RBI. With Devon Travis expected to go on the disabled list, Tulo can be expected to stick at the top of the Jays' lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) will be playing his first game since being acquired by the Blue Jays. He is one of the better offensive shortstops in baseball and should be a solid option on FantasyScore.

Blue Jays | Troy Tulowitzki arriving Wednesday

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 11:03:11 -0700

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki is expected to arrive to the team Wednesday, July 29.

Fantasy Tip: It remains to be seen if Tulowitzki ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) will be in the lineup tomorrow, but if he is, expect him to be near the heart of the order. Make sure he's in there before using him on FantasyScore. Tulo's fantasy value isn't likely to change all that much with the move. Devon Travis ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) is likely to move back to the leadoff spot, which will give his fantasy value a nice boost, especially in daily games.

Blue Jays | Troy Tulowitzki won't be flipped

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 10:40:06 -0700

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki has "zero chance" of being flipped to a team like the San Diego Padres, according to a source. There has been speculation that the Blue Jays would flip him after trading for him Monday, July 27.

Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($5,400, 10.8% of cap), who is hitting .300 (97-for-323) with 12 home runs and 53 RBI, doesn't see a wild increase or decrease in his fantasy value with his move to Toronto. He once again resides in a potent offensive lineup at a very nice hitter's park.

Mon, 27 Jul 2015 20:47:04 -0700

The Toronto Blue Jays acquired SS Troy Tulowitzki from the Colorado Rockies Monday, July 27.

Fantasy Tip: It's uncertain which players are involved in the deal, as this is just breaking. Tulowitzki will remain a must-start FantasyScore option, even with the move out of hitter-friendly Coors Field to the more neutral Rogers Centre.

Rockies | Troy Tulowitzki mired in slump

Sat, 25 Jul 2015 06:56:20 -0700

Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki went 0-for-4 during the Rockies' 6-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds Friday, July 24.

Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) is now riding an active 0-for-11 drought, and he faces Johnny Cueto ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) Saturday. FantasyScore players should view Tulowitzki as a high-risk, high-reward option Saturday. Expect his struggles to be fleeting, though.

Rockies | Troy Tulowitzki unlikely to be traded

Fri, 17 Jul 2015 09:24:57 -0700

Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki is unlikely to be traded, as a rival general manager said the team never seemed serious in trade talks.

Fantasy Tip: Tulo ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) has produced more runs at home, but he is still quite affective on the road. He's a top-flight shortstop option on FantasyScore no matter where he plays.
