Astros | Scott Feldman heading to DL

Mon, 21 Apr 2014 13:29:41 -0700

Houston Astros SP Scott Feldman (biceps) will be place on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, April 22, with biceps tendonitis. SP Collin McHugh will be called up to take his spot in the starting rotation.

Fantasy Tip: McHugh can be ignored everywhere unless you are desperate for innings in a deep AL-only league. Reserve Feldman and wait for his return. His injury makes it realistic that he'll be able to return when eligible.

Astros | Scott Feldman agrees

Fri, 06 Dec 2013 08:50:03 -0800

The Houston Astros agreed with free-agent SP Scott Feldman (Orioles) to a three-year, $30 million deal.

Fantasy Tip: Feldman is a decent AL-only pitcher and a fringe mixed-league starter. His run support will likely be non-existent, which means his win total should suffer. However, don't disregard the rest of his solid numbers. He could be a bit of a sleeper.
