Yankees | Mark Teixeira DL trip possible

Wed, 23 Jul 2014 15:38:33 -0700

New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira (lat) may require a DL stint, according to general manager Brian Cashman.

Fantasy Tip: Tex's up-and-down season seems to have hit another valley. Brian McCann may line up at first base for the duration, especially with INF/OF Kelly Johnson (groin) on the disabled list. It'd be good for McCann's value to play more frequently and not behind the plate.

The New York Yankees could be active leading up to the trade deadline, according to general manager Brian Cashman. I'm always open for business, if it feels like they're incremental upgrades or significant ones."
