Los Angeles Dodgers SS Hanley Ramirez (hand) is out of the lineup Thursday, April 17. Also sitting are OFs Carl Crawford and Andre Ethier.
Fantasy Tip: The good news for Hanley is that the X-rays on his hand were negative after he was hit by a pitch Wednesday night. Check back for updates on his condition. If it's a long-term injury, Dee Gordon or Chone Figgins could lock down the 6.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp is not in the lineup Friday, April 11. OF Andre Ethier is getting the start in center field.

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said he plans to mix and match his outfielders now that OF Matt Kemp is back from the disabled list. "At this point, I'm going to match up as best I can," Mattingly said. "You think about it a lot. With all our guys, I worry about them emotionally and what it does to them." Kemp said this spring that he wouldn't accept the role of a fourth outfielder.
Fantasy Tip: Kemp will probably be rested more often than usual in April, allowing Andre Ethier semi-regular playing time. But once Kemp can prove he's healthy, Ethier figures to be the odd-man out the most.

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said OF Matt Kemp (ankle) could return from the disabled list and play Friday, April 4.
Fantasy Tip: The return of Kemp will most likely make Andre Ethier the loser in the outfield playing time situation. Upon Kemp's return, expect Mattingly to find opportunities to rest him often in the opening month.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Carl Crawford (undisclosed) left early in a minor league game Tuesday, March 18, for unknown reasons. It's not known if he was actually injured, but he was taken to the clubhouse on a cart, and sources are saying he may have injured his right shoulder. The Dodgers plan to update Crawford's condition later Tuesday from Australia. Crawford has not made the trip to Australia, because he will be put on paternity leave.
Fantasy Tip: This won't be a good start for the oft-injured Crawford if he's dealing with a serious ailment. Matt Kemp (ankle) won't be ready for the start of the year, either. Bump Andre Ethier up your draft boards slightly while keeping tabs on Crawford's status. Scott Van Slyke would receive some extra PT early in the year if Crawford isn't ready.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp (ankle) will undergo an MRI exam next week to determine if he can start up a running program. He has yet to run on the field more than four months after left ankle surgery. OF Andre Ethier is expected to be used in all three outfield spots if Kemp returns in April.

The Los Angeles Dodgers may trade one of its outfielders to find extra help shoring up other key areas. Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti confirms he has had interest in all four of his outfielders (Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, Yasiel Puig and Carl Crawford). "We've got four really good outfielders and we've got to be careful. We can't sell off to sell off and in 2015 say, 'Let's go get an outfielder on the free-agent market," Colletti said. "We've checked the list. It's not overloaded with choices. There's a lack of impact outfielders available. We better be sure if we make a move that we help our club for a while."
