Panthers | Greg Olsen mediocre in loss

Sun, 27 Nov 2016 22:40:03 -0800

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen managed just four receptions for 45 yards on five targets in the Week 12 game against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen's fantasy line was rather disappointing considering how poor the Raiders pass defense has been. He'll look to rebound in Week 13 on the road in Seattle, but it might be tough sledding against a much tougher pass D.

Fri, 25 Nov 2016 15:28:14 -0800

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 25, but is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen should be fine for this week's game and will see his normal workload. He has seen his receiving yards drop over the last few weeks but should continue to be a No. 1 tight end in all fantasy leagues.

Panthers | Greg Olsen looks to get untracked

Wed, 16 Nov 2016 21:31:08 -0800

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen will meet the New Orleans Saints in Week 11 Thursday, Nov. 17. He has just 11 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown over his past three games, and he has been targeted 18 times. Olsen posted six grabs for 94 yards on seven targets in the first meeting in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen has been struggling lately, but he is a must-start fantasy option whenever he is active. The Saints are dead last against the NFL in pass defense, giving up 292.7 yards per game through nine outings.

Sun, 06 Nov 2016 20:05:12 -0800

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen managed five receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Rams. He was targeted seven times.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen is a beast in PPR formats, as he has at least five receptions in seven of his eight games this season. He remains a must-start fantasy option in all formats even after last week's egg laying at home.

Panthers | Greg Olsen quiet in Week 8

Sun, 30 Oct 2016 14:47:12 -0700

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen caught one pass for 11 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen posted season lows in receptions, targets and yards but should be more involved next week against the Los Angeles Rams. He should still be a No. 1 tight end in all leagues despite his disappointing performance.

Panthers | Greg Olsen on a record pace

Sat, 29 Oct 2016 18:50:36 -0700

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen's 601 receiving yards are 193 more than any other player at the position, and he is currently on pace to break the single-season record for receiving yards by a tight end.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen's steady production at a thin position makes him a high-end TE1 against any opponent.

Panthers | Greg Olsen hauls in six balls

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 18:10:48 -0700

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen posted six receptions for a team-high 94 yards on seven targets in the Week 6 game against the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Tip: The Panthers are struggling this season, but Olsen brings it every game and has at least 64 yards in each of his games with five or more grabs in each outing. He remains a top-notch TE1 in all fantasy leagues, although owners will have a big hole in Week 7 with the team on a bye.

Fantasy Tip: Olsen had a huge game as the safety valve for Derek Anderson, subbing for the injured Cam Newton. Newton remains one of the top fantasy options at his position heading into Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints.
