Giants | Giants plan to go deep against Seattle

Fri, 07 Nov 2014 13:02:10 -0800

New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said the team plans to stay aggressive and take deep shots against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10. "You don't ever go into a game scared. You go in and trust your plan and trust your preparation," McAdoo said. "We hit those throws and made those plays in practice last week. We are going to practice hard and take care of the execution and fundamentals and the physicality this week in practice and go out and expect to execute on Sunday."

Fantasy Tip: Despite the statement, the Giants are unlikely to have a ton of success down the field against Seattle without Victor Cruz. Odell Beckham Jr. has emerged as Eli Manning's favorite target opposite Rueben Randle. Beckham ($5,300) is a bit more expensive than Randle ($5,100), but his athleticism and shiftiness could give the Seahawks more problems.

Giants | Giants OC looking for explosive plays

Fri, 31 Oct 2014 17:46:20 -0700

New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said he would like the offense to make more expensive plays moving forward. McAdoo said the offense would like 13 percent of their plays to be explosive and have only had explosive plays on 10.3 percent of their plays this season.

Fantasy Tip: Eli Manning could see a bump up in his numbers if the team tries to be more aggressive in their play calling. Manning costs $6,400 on FantasyScore this week, but owners may want to see how their offense plays before using him. Odell Beckham Jr. could also benefit from a more explosive offense and could be a flex option.

Giants | First impression of offense

Fri, 30 May 2014 14:30:49 -0700

New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's West Coast system was on display Thursday, May 29. The majority of plays included a three-wide receiver set. Expect plenty of screen passes and quick-timing, horizontal pass patterns, with three-step drops from the quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: If the offense clicks, Eli Manning will be more efficient. This is good for all fantasy commodities, especially in PPR formats.

Giants | Want RBs to be able to block

Thu, 27 Feb 2014 17:48:58 -0800

New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said his top priority in running backs is that they are able to pass block. "Obviously, it's ideal to have a guy that is functional out of the backfield catching the football, but at the end of the day, if they can't protect the quarterback, they're going to have a hard time getting on the field," McAdoo said.

Graziano points out that offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo being with the team could help if the team tries to sign Jones.
