Giants | Brandon Marshall agrees with Giants

Wed, 08 Mar 2017 06:41:24 -0800

Free-agent WR Brandon Marshall (Jets) agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the New York Giants Wednesday, March 8, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: The soon-to-be 33-year-old will have a ton of talent around him with Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard also running routes. Marshall's fantasy value should take a hit with only so many targets to go around, but he's still a rock-solid WR2.

NFL | Brandon Marshall prioritizing QB

Sat, 04 Mar 2017 20:39:07 -0800

Impending free-agent WR Brandon Marshall said he wants to sign with a contender that has a solid quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: Marshall could be a WR2 in the right situation, but it will be impossible to gauge his value until he has a new team.

Patriots | New England could target Brandon Marshall

Sat, 04 Mar 2017 10:02:46 -0800

Impending free-agent WR Brandon Marshall (Jets) and the New England Patriots appear to have "mutual interest", according to Boston Globe's Ben Volin.

Fantasy Tip: Turning 33 later this month, Marshall undoubtedly would like to play in a playoff game for the first time in his career, much less try to get a Super Bowl ring. The Patriots could be a potential suitor if Marshall doesn't seek too much money, but he seems like a much better bet to end up with either the New York Giants or Baltimore Ravens. Should he end up in New England, Marshall would struggle to be a WR3 in fantasy.

Ravens | Brandon Marshall an option for BAL?

Fri, 03 Mar 2017 07:10:49 -0800

Free-agent WR Brandon Marshall (Jets) could receive interest from the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Tip: That would be a solid fit for Marshall, who still has enough left in the tank to be a WR2 in fantasy.

Jets | Brandon Marshall to be released

Thu, 02 Mar 2017 19:11:49 -0800

The New York Jets are releasing WR Brandon Marshall, according to sources.

Jets | Brandon Marshall struggled with drops

Wed, 22 Feb 2017 12:21:46 -0800

New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall dropped seven passes this past season, according to ESPN Stats and Information.

Fantasy Tip: Marshall's future with the Jets is uncertain at this point, so owners will need to monitor the situation. He finished this season with 59 receptions, 788 yards and three touchdowns. Marshall probably will be a starting receiver for a team in 2017 and could be a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

Jets | Good chance Brandon Marshall is cut

Tue, 14 Feb 2017 06:22:55 -0800

New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall has about a 60 percent chance of being cut this offseason, in the opinion of The Star-Ledger's Darryl Slater.

Fantasy Tip: Marshall went from the best season of his career to the worst since his rookie season. He turns 33 next month, and there appears to be plenty still in the tank. However, that WR1 window has probably closed. He'd be a solid WR2 candidate in a better situation.

Jets | Brandon Marshall plans to change style

Sat, 11 Feb 2017 17:21:07 -0800

New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall said he will "absolutely" change his leadership style after his vocal approach caused friction in the locker room in 2016.

Fantasy Tip: Marshall could end up being released in the offseason, and if he lands with a better offense, he could still be a WR2 candidate. If he is back with the Jets, he shouldn't be trusted as more than a WR3.
