Oakland Raiders TE David Ausberry (knee) will undergo knee surgery and miss the team's preseason opener Friday, Aug. 8, according to head coach Dennis Allen. The exact nature of Ausberry's injury has not been revealed.

Fantasy Tip: Ausberry was sitting on top of the depth chart at tight end, and Mychal Rivera will likely inherit the role for as long as Ausberry is sidelined. However, Rivera is a low-end TE2 at best even as the starter.
