Athletics | Looking at Sam Fuld

Tue, 29 Jul 2014 23:40:54 -0700

The Oakland Athletics have expressed interest in OF Sam Fuld. With a neck injury hobbling OF Coco Crisp and OF Craig Gentry out with a broken hand, sources indicate the team is worried about its depth in the outfield.

Fantasy Tip: Sam Fuld starts strong and then has a tendency to tail off. His fantasy value should be downplayed for that very reason. It would be one thing if Fuld started and you only needed a couple weeks of production out of him, but the reality is Fuld is a backup outfielder at best.
