Rays | Alex Cobb out 4-6 weeks

Sun, 13 Apr 2014 18:50:33 -0700

Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Rays SP Alex Cobb (oblique) said Sunday, April 13, that it is "really disappointing" to hear the MRI results, and hard to believe he will be out four to six weeks because he doesn't feel hurt.

Fantasy Tip: With Cobb on the shelf, Erik Bedard will get a chance to prove himself as a major league starter again after starting the season with Triple-A Durham. Bedard has always had strikeout upside, but he has had a propensity for injury. He is best used in AL-only fantasy leagues and the deepest of mixed formats.
