Twins | Eddie Rosario playing right field

Sun, 14 Jun 2015 11:50:20 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Eddie Rosario is batting second and playing right field against Texas Rangers SP Nick Martinez Sunday, June 14, with OF Shane Robinson batting seventh and playing left field.

Fantasy Tip: Rosario ($2,700, 5.4% of cap), who normally plays left field, finds himself in right field for the second consecutive game. Regular right fielder Torii Hunter ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is serving the final game of a two-game suspension Sunday. Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) hasn't done much offensively this season and should be avoided in FantasyScore.

Twins | Shane Robinson playing Saturday

Sat, 13 Jun 2015 10:46:07 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Shane Robinson will play center field and bat ninth against the Texas Rangers Saturday, June 13.

Fantasy Tip: OF Aaron Hicks ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) was penciled into the original lineup as the center fielder Saturday, and no reason was given for the change. Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is batting .227 with nine RBIs this year and has little value in FantasyScore.

Twins | Eddie Rosario sitting vs. Royals

Wed, 10 Jun 2015 14:40:51 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Eddie Rosario is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, June 10. OF Shane Robinson is playing left field and batting seventh against Kansas City Royals SP Edinson Volquez Wednesday.

Fantasy Tip: Rosario ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is posting nice numbers and is likely flying under the radar. He has nine runs, three home runs, 12 RBI, four stolen bases and a .287/.300/.425 slash line over 26 games since taking over the majority of playing time in left field. Still, he is a fringe option in deep mixed leagues. Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) should be viewed as a desperation source of cap relief for FantasyScore contests Wednesday.

Twins | Shane Robinson in starting lineup

Sat, 06 Jun 2015 09:22:10 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Shane Robinson will be the starting left fielder Saturday, June 6, and is batting second in the starting lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has only three hits in his last three games but has scored five runs in that span. Owners on FantasyScore probably will be able to find better options to use.

Twins | Eddie Rosario not in lineup

Fri, 29 May 2015 14:29:51 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Eddie Rosario is not in the starting lineup Friday, May 29. OF Shane Robinson is starting in left field and hitting second in the batting order against Toronto Blue Jays SP Mark Buehrle.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has never hit more than three home runs in a major league season, and he doesn't have much speed, either (career-high five stolen bases). That makes him a very uninspiring FantasyScore option, even while hitting in the two-hole for a team that has been very productive at home this year.

Twins | Shane Robinson starting in LF

Sun, 24 May 2015 10:40:11 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Shane Robinson will be the starting left fielder against the Chicago White Sox Sunday, May 24.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has struggled in his limited playing time in May and is hitting .179 during the month. Owners on FantasyScore should be able to find better options to use in their lineups.

Twins | Oswaldo Arcia out again

Fri, 01 May 2015 14:23:56 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Oswaldo Arcia is out of the starting lineup against a left-hander Friday, May 1. OF Shane Robinson is starting in center field and hitting eighth in the batting order against Chicago White Sox SP Jose Quintana.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) had two hits last night and is hitting .342 (13-for-38) in limited duty as a backup outfield for the Twins. However, Robinson has very little offensive upside for those looking for a cheap outfield candidate at FantasyScore.

Twins | Jordan Schafer out vs. White Sox

Thu, 30 Apr 2015 14:19:19 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Jordan Schafer (knee) is not in the starting lineup against the Chicago White Sox Thursday, April 30. Schafer left in the sixth innings with a mild sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee Wednesday, April 29. OF Shane Robinson is starting in center field and batting eighth Thursday.

Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid both Schafer ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) and Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) in all fantasy formats Thursday. With Chris Sale on the hill for the White Sox, there is no reason to roster Robinson. Additionally, both Schafer and Robinson are low-level AL-only players in seasonal leagues.

Twins | Oswaldo Arcia not in lineup

Mon, 27 Apr 2015 16:53:14 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Oswaldo Arcia is not in the starting lineup against a left-handed pitcher Monday, April 27. OF Shane Robinson is starting in left field and hitting seventh in the batting order against Detroit Tigers SP David Price.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is at the bottom of the barrel of outfielders you should consider tonight at FantasyScore.

Twins | Jordan Schafer sitting against lefty

Tue, 21 Apr 2015 15:35:57 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Jordan Schafer is not in the starting lineup against Kansas City Royals left-handed SP Jason Vargas Tuesday, April 21. OF Shane Robinson is starting in center field and hitting ninth in the batting order.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has very little FantasyScore appeal with his weak stick, especially at the bottom of a poor Twins lineup. Avoid him in your daily lineups against the Royals.
