Cleveland Indians RP Joba Chamberlain (intercostal) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Monday, May 30. He has been on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained left intercostal muscle.
Fantasy Tip: Chamberlain has posted a 1.93 ERA and 0.86 WHIP through 14 appearances this season, with six walks and 15 strikeouts over 14 innings. When healthy, the 30-year-old right-hander could be useful in AL-only leagues because of his low ERA and WHIP.

Free-agent RP Joba Chamberlain (Tigers) has re-signed with the Detroit Tigers on a one-year contract. He will receive a $1 million base salary plus a $100,000 incentive for reaching 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 plate appearances. RP Chad Smith was designated for assignment to make room on the roster.
Fantasy Tip: Chamberlain carries middling fantasy value under his current situation unless Joe Nathan and Joakim Soria both go down with injuries and are ineffective once again. Still, keep an eye on Chamberlain for deeper league formats.
