Jaguars | Jaguars looking to use two RBs

Wed, 08 Oct 2014 10:42:47 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch is looking to give two running backs the carries moving forward, because he does not like to use four running backs during a game.

Fantasy Tip: Toby Gerhart, Denard Robinson and Storm Johnson are all options to receive carries, so owners will need to see how the workload is spread out among the backs. Owners probably want to avoid all three of the running backs this week because of the uncertainty of their workloads.

Jaguars | Maurice Jones-Drew may be limited to start camp

Tue, 16 Jul 2013 12:46:35 -0700

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) may not go at full speed at the start of training camp, according to offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch. "We have to make sure he can just not plant off his foot, but be tackled on his foot and be able to bounce right back up and be able to withstand a lot of carries," Fisch said. "When we start seeing those things, we'll have a better feel of what type of guy he can be. "We're not going to overburden him until he feels he's 100 percent."

Fantasy Tip: Nothing to be concerned with here, it sounds like the Jaguars are just being overly cautious with their best running back and he should be a full go for the start of the regular season.
