Rays | Matt Moore shows well in victory |
Wed, 27 Jul 2016 20:37:10 -0700
Tampa Bay Rays SP Matt Moore allowed one unearned run, four hits and four walks over 6 2/3 innings in a win Wednesday, July 27, against the Los Angeles Dodgers to even up his record at 7-7 while lowering his ERA to 4.08.
Fantasy Tip: Moore might be showcasing for other teams leading up to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline. He has re-emerged as a solid fantasy option in AL-only leagues and deeper mixed formats, and he'll see an increase if he moves to a contender where wins can be more plentiful.

Rays | Matt Moore being scouted |
Mon, 18 Jul 2016 14:12:45 -0700
Tampa Bay Rays SP Matt Moore was being scouted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals during his start against the Baltimore Orioles over the weekend.
Fantasy Tip: Moore lowered his ERA to 4.33 with an effective outing against a good Baltimore offense, and he also sports a 1.29 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in 19 starts for the Rays. He'd be extremely attractive on the waiver wire if he crosses over to the National League before the end of July and the trading deadline.

Rangers | Texas interested in Matt Moore |
Sun, 17 Jul 2016 07:10:11 -0700
The Texas Rangers have expressed interest in Tampa Bay Rays SP Matt Moore, according to multiple sources.
Fantasy Tip: The Rangers are currently searching for starting and relieving help and it's possible that the 27-year-old left-hander could benefit from a change of scenery. He is 5-7 with a 4.33 ERA through 19 starts this season, with 34 walks and 98 strikeouts through 116 1/3 innings. At least six other teams have expressed interest in Moore, who may be considered expendable by the Rays since Alex Cobb is expected to return from Tommy John surgery later this year.
