The Arizona Cardinals have no interest in free-agent RB Ray Rice (Ravens) despite an injury suffered by starting RB Andre Ellington (hip).

Fantasy Tip: It's going to be very hard for Rice to find work this soon after his reinstatement, not only because of the PR headaches but also due to his lack of game shape. Still, continue to monitor the situation.

Mon, 01 Dec 2014 10:30:39 -0800

Free-agent RB Ray Rice (Ravens) is not a player the Detroit Lions have considered signing, according to head coach Jim Caldwell. Caldwell said he expects Rice will sign with a team at some point

Fantasy Tip: Rice may be receiving some interest from teams, but he could also sit out the rest of the season and wait for the offseason to sign with a team. Owners should not consider adding Rice since he likely would not make a big impact even if he did sign with a team.

NFL | Ray Rice wins appeal

Fri, 28 Nov 2014 11:49:14 -0800

Free-agent RB Ray Rice (Ravens) has won the appeal of his indefinite suspension and is eligible to play immediately, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Rice can sign with any team, but he may remain a free agent for the rest of the season and look for a fresh start in 2015. Owners likely won't have a reason to play Rice, even in the unlikely even he signs with a team this year. Consider adding him off the waiver wire only if you're in a very deep league and are desperate for running back depth heading into the fantasy playoffs.
