Chiefs | Andy Reid raves about Tyreek Hill

Wed, 04 Jan 2017 21:54:40 -0800

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill has a unique blend of speed and quickness, according to head coach Andy Reid, and Reid compared Hill to Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Hill is electric with the ball in his hands, and he has scored a touchdown of 65 yards or more in four consecutive games. The Chiefs are committed to giving him touches, making Hill a high-upside WR2 as long as Kansas City is alive in the postseason.

Redskins | DeSean Jackson likely done in Washington

Tue, 03 Jan 2017 09:40:49 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson may have "worn out his welcome" in the nation's capital, according to ESPN's John Keim.

Fantasy Tip: Part of that worn-out welcome may be the result of Jackson's reported desire to return to the Philadelphia Eagles. The 30-year-old speedster remains one of the league's top vertical threats and topped 1,000 yards receiving for the fifth time in 2016. Given his skill set and the Eagles' need for a receiver, a reunion in Philadelphia would qualify as one of the least surprising developments in the NFL this spring if it comes to fruition.

Redskins | DeSean Jackson practices in full again

Fri, 30 Dec 2016 14:10:06 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (jaw) practiced in full for the third straight day Friday, Dec. 30.

Fantasy Tip: He's not even listed on the injury report, so there's no question that Jackson will be out there in Sunday's season finale. With the Redskins still trying to lock up a playoff berth in the final week, expect Jackson to see his usual healthy number of targets. He's been one of the hottest receivers in the NFL as of late, having logged three consecutive 100-yard performances. The former Eagle definitely deserves strong consideration as your WR2 this weekend.

Wed, 28 Dec 2016 12:59:05 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (jaw) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson should be fine for the Week 17 game and should see a solid amount of targets during the game. He has recorded at least 100 yards in four of his last five games and should be considered a low-end No. 2 or a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Redskins | DeSean Jackson also day-to-day

Mon, 26 Dec 2016 13:20:34 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (jaw) is day-to-day, according to head coach Jay Gruden.

Fantasy Tip: The Redskins will be out of playoff contention if the Detroit Lions win Monday. If that's the case then Washington may choose to rest Jackson in Week 17. Jamison Crowder and Pierre Garcon would be decent starting options with Week 17 fantasy championships on the line if Jackson is sidelined.

Redskins | DeSean Jackson suffers jaw contusion

Sun, 25 Dec 2016 07:26:08 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (jaw) left Week 16's game against the Chicago Bears after suffering a jaw contusion, according to head coach Jay Gruden.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson had five receptions for 114 yards in the first half before exiting Saturday's game. If he is healthy enough to face the New York Giants in Week 17, he is worthy of consideration as a WR3 despite the somewhat challenging matchup.

Redskins | DeSean Jackson goes over 100 again

Sat, 24 Dec 2016 16:56:14 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson finished with five receptions for 114 yards in Week 16 versus the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: All of his production came in the first half. Since returning from injury on Nov. 20, Jackson has topped the century mark in four times. He appears to be as healthy as he has in some time and is making a case to land a pretty substantial contract in free agency this offseason. Jackson will be a high-upside WR3 next week despite a difficult matchup against the New York Giants.

Mon, 19 Dec 2016 22:09:50 -0800

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson rushed seven times for 111 yards on 10 targets in the Week 15 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson had a couple of reviews go in his favor, as he made nice sliding catches along the sidelines that were called incomplete on the field. Fantasy owners were more than pleased to see the calls go their way.
