Dallas Cowboys CB Orlando Scandrick (hamstring) said Wednesday, Sept. 21, that he is not 100 percent. His reconstructed knee is fine, but he has been dealing with hamstring injuries in both legs. "I'm just not myself," Scandrick said. "It's encouraging that it's not my knee. That repair is holding up strong. But the facts are the facts. I haven't played in a year, and after two games, I haven't been able to play fully. I'm extremely sore today."

The Dallas Cowboys plan to restructure CB Orlando Scandrick's contract to free up approximately $3 million in salary cap space for the 2016 season, sources said Wednesday, Sept. 1. The team will likely convert $4 million of Scandrick's $5 million base salary into a signing bonus that would free up $3 million in additional salary cap space so the team can pursue a backup quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: Scandrick is done for the season. He was considered, at least, a Top 60 fantasy option at his position in fantasy leagues which use individual defensive players (IDPs), so it is more a loss for his real team than fantasy. However, it further decreases the value of the Dallas Cowboys DST in standard fantasy formats.
