JR Motorsports driver Kevin Harvick will run in at least 12 Nationwide Series races next season in the No. 5 Chevrolet. Hunt Brothers Pizza will sponsor Harvick at Bristol, Charlotte and both races in Texas. He currently ranks third on the series' career wins list with 40.

Richard Childress Racing driver Kevin Harvick won the Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Raceway Sunday, Nov. 11, to snap a 44-race losing streak. Penske Championship Racing driver Brad Keselowski finished sixth to give him a 20-point lead in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship heading into the final race of the year. Keselowski can clinch the title by finishing 15th or better at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Richard Childress Racing driver Kevin Harvick announced Friday, Nov. 9, that he will leave RCR and join Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014. Harvick has signed a multi-year deal with SHR beginning with the 2014 Sprint Cup season. He will remain in the RCR No. 29 Chevrolet next season. Harvick will drive a fourth SHR Chevrolet, teaming up with drivers Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and Danica Patrick.

Richard Childress Racing owner Richard Childress said the move to new crew chief Gil Martin for driver Kevin Harvick is a temporary move. The two will be together for at least one Sprint Cup race, this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. However, Childress didn't rule out the two working together for the final 13 races of the season.

Richard Childress Racing announced Tuesday, Aug. 21, that driver Kevin Harvick will reunite with crew chief Gil Martin starting with the Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday, Aug. 25. Martin is replacing crew chief Shane Wilson. Harvick has just one top-10 finish in the last eight races to fall to eighth in points.

It was Hamlin's 18th career victory, and he currently leads in points after the first two races. He held off Richard Childress Racing driver Kevin Harvick, who ran out of gas on the last lap.
