Penske Championship Racing | Brad Keselowski docked six points

Penske Championship Racing driver Brad Keselowski was docked six points and his crew chief Paul Wolfe was fined $25,000 after the front end of their No. 2 Ford was found to be too low after a post-race inspection at last weekend's Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway. The penalties drop Keselowski to 10th in the standings, eight points ahead of Hendrick Motorsports driver Jeff Gordon. Owner Roger Penske was docked six owner's points. The team won't appeal the penalties.

Penske Championship Racing drivers Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano were both docked 25 points each, as were their car owners, from penalties from race inspections at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend. Crew chief Paul Wolfe for Keselowski and crew chief Todd Gordon for Logano were suspended for six point races and the All-Star race and fined $100,000 each. The team plans to appeal the rulings.

Penske Championship Racing's extension with driver Brad Keselowski is for two years and includes an option for the 2015 season, according to team sources. Crew chief Paul Wolfe and sponsor Miller Lite have also been extended through 2015.

Penske Championship Racing announced Tuesday, Nov. 30, that crew chief Paul Wolfe will replace crew chief Jay Guy as the crew chief for driver Brad Keselowski in the Sprint Cup season next year, according to SceneDaily.com's Bob Pockrass. Wolfe worked with Keselowski in the Nationwide Series this year.

CJM Racing | Wolfe to join team

Bob Pockrass, of SceneDaily.com, reports Paul Wolfe, the crew chief for Michael Waltrip Racing in the Nationwide Series, will join CJM Racing to be the crew chief for Scott Lagasse Jr. for the remainder of this season. Wolfe has been a crew chief with MWR, Fitz Motorsports and Braun Racing this year.

Wolfe had been with Fitz Motorsports the last few seasons and was a development driver for Gillett Evernham Motorsports as well.
