Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said he doesn't think it would cost as much to move up in the 2016 NFL Draft as the Washington Redskins gave up to the Rams to select Robert Griffin III, but he added that it would still take an "awful lot" of draft picks to move up to far enough select North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz or California QB Jared Goff.

St. Louis Rams WR Stedman Bailey (head) continues to show improvement following surgery for a gunshot wound to the head. Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Bailey was still in intensive care recovering.
Fantasy Tip: Although this is good news in general, for fantasy purposes Bailey is likely finished for 2015. Keep an eye on his recovery.

Updating a previous report, St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley (knee) was a full participant in practice Friday, Sept. 18, and is listed as questionable for Week 2 against the Washington Redskins. Gurley will be a game-time decision, according to head coach Jeff Fisher.
Fantasy Tip: Even if Gurley ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) plays Sunday, he's unlikely to see many touches. There's too much risk involved to touch him on FantasyScore. The same could probably also be said about Mason ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) if he plays and Benny Cunningham ($4,000, 8.0% of cap). If all three backs are active, this could shape up to be a backfield to avoid altogether this weekend. Cunningham could yet again be worth a sleeper selection at the flex spot if one or both of Gurley and Mason are out.

The NFL competition committee tweaked the rule for a catch Monday, March 23. The rule now states that a receiver must establish himself as a runner rather than just make a football move. The receiver must also have control of the ball and both feet in bounds. "If you're going to the ground, hang on to the ball. It's really pretty simple," St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said. "To include if you become a runner, I think it really cleans things up for us. If you start talking about reaching the ball out, you invite a lot of gray area back into the interpretation."
