Royals | Eric Hosmer drives in four runs

Sat, 28 May 2016 05:10:00 -0700

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI against the Chicago White Sox Friday, May 27.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer has recorded at least one hit in four of his last five games and has six RBI during that span. Hosmer likely will be a key part of the team's offense moving forward and is an attractive starting candidate in all leagues.

Royals | Eric Hosmer continues to rake in May

Wed, 18 May 2016 17:40:41 -0700

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer Wednesday, May 18, opposite the Boston Red Sox. He now has eight home runs on the season.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer has been playing very well since the season first opened up, but he's seemingly turned it up a notch in May, in which he's hitting .351 with five homers and 12 RBI in 16 games. At this rate, Hosmer looks like a solid bet to make the American League All-Star team come July, as he's certainly performed like a fantasy All-Star up to this point.

Royals | Two Royals set for big game?

Tue, 17 May 2016 14:09:47 -0700

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer and OF Alex Gordon have fared well against Boston Red Sox SP Rick Porcello in the last five years. Hosmer is hitting .346 with two home runs and three RBI in 26 at-bats, while Gordon is batting .303 with two home runs and seven RBI in 33 at-bats against Porcello. They face Porcello Tuesday, May 17.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer is a must-start in seasonal leagues and is a popular daily target, too. Gordon, on the other hand, is likely being overlooked everywhere because of his slow start. He could be a nice contrarian pick this evening in DFS play.

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer went 2-for-6 with a double and an RBI in a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Braves Sunday, May 15, and he is hitting .388 against right-handed pitching this season.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer's steady bat makes him a solid every-day option in season-long formats, and make sure to exploit him in DFS play against righties.

Royals | Eric Hosmer's hit streak snapped

Tue, 10 May 2016 22:42:01 -0700

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer was hitless in four at-bats with a pair of strikeouts Tuesday, April 10, against the New York Yankees to snap his eight-game hitting streak.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer is still hitting .325 overall this season. Despite the hitless game, he remains a must-start fantasy option all across all formats until he hits a prolonged cold streak. That hasn't happened so far this season.

Royals | Eric Hosmer keeps rolling

Sun, 08 May 2016 14:05:41 -0700

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer went 1-for-3 with a two-run shot in a loss against the Cleveland Indians on Sunday, May 8.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer is in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak after he saw an 18-game streak end on April 30. Even as the Royals' American League-worst offense struggles around him, the three-time Gold Glover first baseman appears poised to have another career year. The 26-year-old is batting .336 with five homers and 15 RBI, and needs to remain in lineups as Kansas City travels to New York for the first of four games against the Yankees on Monday.

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBIs Wednesday, April 27, against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, pushing his hitting streak to 17 games.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer is hitting .358 (24-for-67) with three homers and seven RBIs during the impressive hitting streak. He is a must-start fantasy option in all formats right now, and keep rolling with him in DFS regardless of the price tag until he cools off.

Royals | Eric Hosmer extends to 17

Wed, 27 Apr 2016 23:44:52 -0700

Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer extended his hitting streak to a career-best 17 games with a two-run homer Wednesday, April 27.

Fantasy Tip: Hosmer has a .333-3-8 line on the season, so the damage was good for his otherwise unspectacular production during the streak. Keep him in your lineups.
