Astros | Jason Castro on the bench

Mon, 13 Apr 2015 14:45:54 -0700

Houston Astros C Jason Castro is not in the starting lineup against Oakland Athletics left-handed SP Scott Kazmir Monday, April 13. C Hank Conger is starting behind the plate and batting eighth in the batting order.

Fantasy Tip: Conger ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is a switch hitter, but he hit just .188 with one RBI in 16 at-bats against lefties in 2014. He should be avoided in all daily games tonight.

Fantasy Tip: Conger ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) is a cheap catching option Thursday, but he's a weak daily play at FantasyScore. Conger hit just .223 against right-handed pitchers and .221 overall in 231 at-bats in 2014 with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
