Fantasy Tip: Chisenhall ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Sands ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has only two hits in his last seven games and is not a great option for owners on FantasyScore.

Indians | Lonnie Chisenhall praised by manager

Mon, 10 Aug 2015 14:02:22 -0700

Cleveland Indians 3B Lonnie Chisenhall's versatility and ability to play the outfield has added value to the team, according to manager Terry Francona. "He's been a Major League third baseman. You take that with a guy who can play first and the corner outfield spots, and hit left-handed, and all of a sudden it's kind of a unique skill set."

Fantasy Tip: Chisenhall ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) has flashed excellent production at times throughout his career but failed to remain consistent over a prolonged stretch. He is 10-for-29 with a .870 OPS over his 31 plate appearances since being recalled to the Tribe Thursday, July 30. Don't rule out a strong finish for Chisenhall who could return nice value in deep leagues.

Indians | Lonnie Chisenhall hitting sixth vs. Twins

Fri, 07 Aug 2015 13:47:06 -0700

Cleveland Indians 3B Lonnie Chisenhall is starting in right field and batting sixth against Minnesota Twins SP Mike Pelfrey Friday, Aug. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Expect the Indians to take a long look at Chisenhall ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) to finish the season. At 26, he has shown flashes of high-end talent, but he hasn't been able to put anything together for a prolonged stretch. There is upside in deep leagues, if Chisenhall is extended a long leash to show his stuff. FantasyScore players have a potential source of cap relief with upside on their hands with Chisenhall Friday.
