Arizona Diamondbacks SP Daniel Hudson (elbow) could rejoin the team in September as a relief pitcher if he does not have any setbacks during his rehab assignment. Hudson has been the starter in all of his rehab games so far but will he used out of the bullpen when his rehab assignment moves to Triple-A Reno.

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Daniel Hudson (elbow) threw in the bullpen Friday, Aug. 1, and he is set to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with the team's Arizona League team Tuesday, Aug. 5. The team is hopeful he'll be able to appear in three to six games with the big club in September.
Fantasy Tip: Hudson isn't a bad stash candidate in NL-only fantasy leagues if you have the roster flexibility.

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Daniel Hudson (elbow) is currently on schedule in his recover from Tommy John surgery, and has already thrown three bullpen sessions. Arizona Diamondbacks RP Daniel Hudson (elbow) is scheduled to return as a reliever later this summer when he's eligible to be activated, possibly in July, according to manager Kirk Gibson.
Fantasy Tip: This will effectively take away any fantasy value for Hudson for this season. However, that doesn't eliminate him from starting consideration in 2015 if he's healthy.

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Bronson Arroyo (back) will miss the next seven to 10 days after receiving an epidural injection for an inflamed disc in his back Wednesday, March 5. He was scratched from his spring start Tuesday, March 4, after feeling pain while warming up. "(The doctors) just want it to calm down before he starts throwing again," general manager Kevin Towers said. "Of course, Arroyo doesn't think it'll take that long. We'll just have to play it by ear to see how he's feeling." Arroyo has never been on the disabled list in his career.
Fantasy Tip: If Arroyo isn't ready for the start of the season, that'd leave the door open for the likes of Randall Delgado, Archie Bradley or Daniel Hudson. Bradley has the most upside of the trio, but the Snakes may decide he needs more seasoning. Delgado or Hudson would likely be just a short-term option for NL-only leaguers, depending on how much time Arroyo misses.
