Fantasy Tip: Harrison is putting together a solid campaign, and leading off boosts his chances of scoring runs and stealing bases. He is a potential option at the keystone in daily contests Thursday, and he is a strong starter in seasonal leagues after beginning the season with 27 runs, 30 RBI, 12 stolen bases and a .304 batting average.

Pittsburgh Pirates 2B Josh Harrison batted leadoff Tuesday, June 7, against the New York Mets and he responded with three hits, including a triple, in five at-bats with two runs scored. He also stole his ninth base of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Harrison is hitting .323 on the season, and looked comfortable atop the lineup. Given his high average he is a solid fantasy play in most seasonal formats, especially rotisserie leagues.

Pittsburgh Pirates OF Starling Marte (ankle), 3B Jung Ho Kang, 2B Josh Harrison and C Francisco Cervelli are not in the starting lineup for the second game of a doubleheader against the New York Mets Tuesday, June 7. OF Gregory Polanco will start in left field, while OF Matt Joyce will start in right field and is batting fourth against Mets SP Jacob deGrom. 1B Sean Rodriguez will start at third base and is batting sixth. 2B Cole Figueroa will start at second base and is batting seventh, while C Chris Stewart will start at catcher and is batting eighth.

Fantasy Tip: Joyce is probably the only player that has value among the new players in the lineup. Joyce is hitting .319 on the season and should be an attractive option in daily fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Harrison has missed the past two games, but you can return him to your fantasy lineups with confidence Monday. He has a solid .321/.356/.426 slash line with 19 runs, two home runs, 25 RBI and seven stolen bases. Hitting atop the lineup also helps his upside, especially in daily contests.

Pittsburgh Pirates 2B Josh Harrison (illness) returned to action in a pinch-hitting role Thursday, May 26, against the Arizona Diamondbacks and delivered a two-run double in his only at-bat.

Fantasy Tip: This should indicate Harrison is very close to returning to the starting lineup, and perhaps he'll be back in there for the club's next game, if not by the end of the weekend. He's been having a strong season, batting .319 with 25 RBI -- his most runs driven in this early in the season.
