Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick was out of the starting lineup Wednesday, April 16. He has been struggling, but manager Bob Melvin said Reddick is recognizing pitches better. However, he decided with a tough lefty on the mound, it wasn't a good scenario to get Reddick back on track.

Oakland Athletics OFs Coco Crisp (wrist) and Josh Reddick are not in the starting lineup Friday, April 11. Crisp is coming off a cortisone shot and Reddick has slumped to start the season.
Fantasy Tip: Crisp is expected to be back sometime this weekend. There have been rumors that Reddick may be headed back to the minors because of his slow start. Stay tuned there.

Oakland Athletics OF Josh Reddick was the only no-show for the team at FanFest. While the arbitration-eligible Reddick is still unsigned, it is not a reason he'd miss FanFest. It is unclear if he had travel issue, but the team did not learn of his expected absence until Friday, Feb. 7. Reddick remains under team control, and he is expected to report to spring training. "These things always get done," general manager Billy Beane said Saturday, Feb. 8, when asked of Reddick's contract situation.
