Atlanta Braves 1B Freddie Freeman (wrist) said that doctors have been pleasantly surprised at how quickly he has recovered from a fractured left wrist, although he is still experiencing occasional pain. The bone is 80-90 percent healed, compared with 50 percent one week ago.

Atlanta Braves 1B Freddie Freeman (wrist) will likely need at least another month to recover from a fractured left wrist suffered on May 17, but the team has already admitted to having internal discussions about moving him to third base in order to keep 1B Matt Adams in the lineup. Freeman played third base throughout his high school career.
