St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt said he has a chip on his shoulder from not performing up to his expectations the last six seasons. Britt added that he has a lot to prove in his second season with the Rams. "I don't want to leave this season saying I left something out there on the field," Britt said.
Fantasy Tip: Britt has the talent to be a successful wide receiver in the NFL and for fantasy football teams, but that talent hasn't come to full fruition. Britt should be the Rams' No. 1 wide receiver this year after coming off a 2014 season in which he caught 48 passes for 748 yards and 3 touchdowns. He should be taken as a WR5 with WR4 potential.
Fri, 05 Jun 2015 21:09:02 -0700
St. Louis Rams QB Nick Foles was praised by WR Kenny Britt and TE Jared Cook for his performance during OTAs. "We love him," Britt said Thursday, June 4. "Great deep ball, he puts it on the money every time. He can throw every pass in the book."
Fantasy Tip: The Rams' offense will likely center on the power running game, but Foles should still be a useful option at FantasyScore when facing friendlier matchups in 2015.
Sun, 05 Apr 2015 10:21:20 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt is expected to produce more in the passing game next season, according to head coach Jeff Fisher. "I can kind of share the same issue Kenny does and that's we think he can be better. I think he can do better. He thinks he can be better. He thinks he can be more productive. He's looking forward to the offensive changes. I think yeah, we should see a lot more out of Kenny this year," Fisher said.
Fantasy Tip: Britt is coming off one of his better seasons with 748 receiving yards and a career-high 48 receptions. He likely will be one of the Rams' starting receivers and could be a later-round option for owners next season.
Thu, 26 Mar 2015 07:04:22 -0700
Updating previous reports, St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt's two-year deal could be worth as much as $13.95 million with incentives. The contract voids if he has more than 901 yards or nine or more touchdowns in 2015.
Tue, 24 Mar 2015 11:25:39 -0700
Updating a previous report, St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt's two-year contract is worth $9.15 million as opposed to the originally reported $14 million.
Sat, 14 Mar 2015 08:25:45 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt could void his contract after only one season if he performs well enough during the 2015 season.
Fantasy Tip: Britt had one of his best seasons in 2014 with 48 catches, 748 yards and three touchdowns. Britt could be one of the starting wide receivers next season and should have a solid role in the passing game. Britt could be an option in the later rounds of drafts next season.
Fri, 13 Mar 2015 19:14:04 -0700
Free-agent WR Kenny Britt is coming back to the St. Louis Rams on a two-year, $14 million deal with $4.3 million guaranteed.
Fantasy Tip: Britt finished with a career-high 48 catches last year, and his 748 receiving yards were the second most of his career. Britt still has big-play ability, and he could be worth a late-round flier after a decent 2014 campaign.
Wed, 11 Mar 2015 15:47:49 -0700
Free-agent WR Kenny Britt (Rams) is expected to re-sign with the St. Louis Rams soon, in the opinion of NFL Media columnist Michael Silver.
Fantasy Tip: Britt could form a nice combo with Nick Foles, the Rams' new starting quarterback after a trade Tuesday. Britt set a career high in 2014 with 48 catches to go along with 748 yards and three touchdowns. But he had more than 70 yards in just two games, which makes him tough to rely on for fantasy owners. Consider Britt a WR4 that has slightly more value in standard-scoring leagues because of his deep-threat potential.
Sun, 08 Feb 2015 17:19:14 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Chris Givens is scheduled to have a base salary of $1.574 million with a cap count of $1.698 million. The team might deem it too much if Givens is the fifth receiver in a group with WRs Kenny Britt, Brian Quick, Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. Releasing Givens would save the team $1.574 million.
Fantasy Tip: Whether he stays or goes Givens is unlikely to be much of an impact player for fantasy owners in 2015.
Sun, 25 Jan 2015 04:19:52 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt and his agents have started contract talks with the team. Britt, who has been in St. Louis just one season, indicated he wanted to remain with the club past 2014.
Fantasy Tip: This is a good sign for the Rams and for Rams fans in general. Britt is their best option at WR and, as previously indicated, he is a good low-end WR2 option in most leagues.
Tue, 06 Jan 2015 15:21:50 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt said he wants to return to St. Louis next year. Britt will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Fantasy Tip: If Britt is re-signed, he'll likely remain the best fantasy option as far as Rams wide receivers are concerned. If he can stay healthy and play to his potential, he has low-end WR2 upside.
Wed, 10 Dec 2014 12:35:04 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (non-injury related) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 10, and is probable for Week 15.
Fantasy Tip: Britt ($3,400, 6.8%) has done next to nothing in recent weeks, totaling just five catches for 102 yards in his last three games. It's best to avoid him even at his cheap price on FantasyScore.
Tue, 09 Dec 2014 17:50:02 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (non-injury related) returned to practice Tuesday, Dec. 9, and was listed as a full participant after resting Monday, Dec. 8.
Fantasy Tip: Britt is a tempting FantasyScore play at just $3,400 (or 6.8 percent of the cap), but with just five grabs for 102 yards and no touchdowns over the past three games, he his fantasy appeal is negligible.
Mon, 08 Dec 2014 15:55:29 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (non-injury) did not participate in practice Monday, Dec. 8.
Fantasy Tip: Britt had a decent outing in Week 14 but will be facing a solid Arizona Cardinals pass defense in Week 15. Owners on FantasyScore should be able to find a better option to use.
Fri, 28 Nov 2014 14:14:50 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 28, and is listed as probable for Week 13.
Fantasy Tip: Britt posted 128 receiving yards and one touchdown two weeks ago but followed that up with only 37 yards last week. Britt costs $4,100 on FantasyScore, but owners should consider avoiding him since he is facing a tough Oakland Raiders pass defense.
Thu, 27 Nov 2014 13:22:53 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (back) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 27.
Fantasy Tip: Britt ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) has 13 targets over his past two games, so there is upside. However, the Oakland Raiders have been a stringy against the pass of late. You should be able to find better options in his price range, too.
Wed, 26 Nov 2014 16:46:52 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (back) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 26.
Fantasy Tip: Britt's status for Week 13 probably will become clearer later in the week. Britt costs $4,100 on FantasyScore, but may not be the best option since the Oakland Raiders defense has been tough on wide receivers this season.
Thu, 20 Nov 2014 00:40:34 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt has not had any contract talks with the team, nor there have been communications about negotiations. Britt has said he wants to stick with St. Louls. "Hopefully I can stay here after this season and be in this locker room," Britt said. "It's hard to put a team together like this in the locker room, with this chemistry."
Sun, 16 Nov 2014 18:01:23 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt posted four receptions for 128 yards and a 63-yard touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Tip: Britt seems to jell nicely with new QB Shaun Hill, and that could be a combination worth watching for FantasyScore players.
Sun, 16 Nov 2014 11:27:06 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt caught four passes for 128 yards and one touchdown in the first half of the team's Week 11 game.
Fantasy Tip: This is Britt's best game by far this season and he still has a half to add to his stats. Owners could consider adding Britt if they need a wide receiver since Shaun Hill is the starting quarterback, but Britt should not be a weekly starting option for owners.
Sun, 16 Nov 2014 10:33:37 -0800
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt caught a 63-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter of the team's Week 11 game.
Fantasy Tip: Britt has not had a big role in the passing game this season but could see more playing time if he continues to make plays. Britt probably will not be a great option for owners most weeks.
Fri, 31 Oct 2014 15:34:11 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (hip) practiced in full for the second straight day Friday, Oct. 31, and is probable for Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Tip: Britt costs the bare minimum ($3,000; 6.0% of cap) for receivers at FantasyScore. With Brian Quick out for the year, look for Britt to be more involved in the passing game. However, don't expect to cash in immediately against the Niners this weekend.
Thu, 30 Oct 2014 16:39:48 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (hip) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 30, after being limited Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Fantasy Tip: Britt is very cheap at FantasyScore this week ($3,000), and he could be a bargain against the San Francisco 49ers, especially with Brian Quick likely out for the season. Consider him as a deep sleeper for your flex spot.
Wed, 29 Oct 2014 16:48:28 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (hip) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. The Rams conducted a walk-through Wednesday, so the practice designation is an estimation.
Fantasy Tip: Britt ($3,000; 6.0% of cap) qualifies as a sleeper candidate for your FantasyScore wide receiver. With Brian Quick (shoulder) likely done for the year, Britt should see a healthy increase in targets.
Fri, 24 Oct 2014 13:08:27 -0700
St. Louis Rams C Tim Barnes (shoulder) and CB Brandon McGee (foot) are both out for Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs. CBs Janoris Jenkins (knee) and Trumaine Johnson (knee) are questionable, while DE William Hayes (illness), WR Kenny Britt (ankle), S T.J. McDonald (concussion), OG Rodger Saffold (knee), LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar (toe) and DE Ethan Westbrooks (hand) are probable. Jenkins, Barnes and McGee didn't practice Friday, Oct. 24, while the rest were full participants.
Thu, 23 Oct 2014 17:52:51 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (ankle) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 23.
Fantasy Tip: Britt still has the ability to stretch the field, but with just 197 yards and one touchdown through six games, he hasn't been a reliable option. Even at the minimum salary at the receiver positon at FantasyScore, Britt ($3,000, 6%) isn't worth the gamble.
Wed, 22 Oct 2014 14:13:32 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (ankle) is not participating in practice Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Fantasy Tip: Britt was probably a flex option at best for Week 8. If you add the injury to the equation, it is probably best to look elsewhere in FantasyScore this week, even if Britt is able to get on the field.
Sun, 19 Oct 2014 10:19:08 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (ankle) left the team's Week 7 game because of an ankle injury but was able to return.
Fantasy Tip: Britt does not appear to be dealing with a major injury, but he could be limited because of the injury. Britt probably is only a flex option at this point.
Mon, 13 Oct 2014 16:14:45 -0700
St. Louis Rams RB Zac Stacy (calf) and WR Kenny Britt (knee) are both active for the team's Week 6 game against the San Francisco 49ers Monday, Oct. 13.
Fantasy Tip: Stacy wasn't an attractive option at FantasyScore this week because of his injury status in a Monday night game. The Rams could have Benny Cunningham share much of the workload with him.
Sat, 11 Oct 2014 14:36:07 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (knee) and DE Eugene Sims (groin) are listed as probable for Week 6. RB Chase Reynolds (hip), LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar (groin), C Barrett Jones (back) and DE Alex Carrington (knee) are listed as questionable. CB Trumaine Johnson (knee) and CB Brandon McGee (foot) are out for Week 6.
Fri, 10 Oct 2014 17:45:59 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (knee) was added to the injury report Friday, Oct. 10, due to a knee injury. He did not take part in practice Friday.
Sun, 24 Aug 2014 13:10:07 -0700
St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford (knee) is out for the season after an MRI revealed a torn left anterior cruciate ligament.
Fantasy Tip: Zac Stacy will be relied upon even heavier with Shaun Hill as the quarterback. Stacy is a low-end RB2. Tavon Austin's stock could take a slight hit, but he remains a solid WR4. Kenny Britt is still worth a late-round flier as a WR5.
Thu, 21 Aug 2014 16:27:33 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) may sit out of the team's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns Saturday, Aug. 23, with a shoulder injury. Britt did practice this week, however.
Fantasy Tip: If he does sit it's more of a precautionary measure. It doesn't sound like a serious injury so Britt remains an intriguing sleeper for 2014.
Sun, 17 Aug 2014 23:31:25 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Chris Givens has been surpassed on the depth chart by WRs Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey and Brian Quick, and Givens may be a bubble in terms of final roster cuts.
Fantasy Tip: Givens has promise, but there is a logjam at the position. Bailey is suspended the first four games, and Givens has a chance to prove himself again. Givens is a final-round flier as a WR5 or WR6.
Sat, 16 Aug 2014 14:43:39 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) is on the sideline without his jersey or pads on Saturday, Aug. 16, with an ice pack wrapped around his left shoulder.
Fantasy Tip: There is no word as to the severity of the injury. Britt is a good flier for the back end of your receiving corps.
Tue, 12 Aug 2014 20:38:28 -0700
St. Louis Ram WR Kenny Britt (knee) said he finally feels mentally and physically recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in 2011.
Fantasy Tip: Britt is blessed with exceptional size and speed, and he has shown the ability to make big plays throughout his career. However, he has also shown the ability to find trouble off the field and has dealt with several injuries. Britt is worth taking a chance on in the later rounds of drafts, but don't plan on him being a regular starter.
Fri, 11 Jul 2014 10:13:53 -0700
Free-agent LB Will Witherspoon (Rams) praised WR Kenny Britt, saying he will be huge boost for the team's offense. "I think the addition of Kenny Britt will be a huge boost for the Rams offense. I expect him to blossom into a star," Witherspoon said.
Thu, 19 Jun 2014 12:28:05 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (undisclosed) returned to practice Thursday, June 19, after leaving practice Tuesday, June 17.
Wed, 11 Jun 2014 09:53:56 -0700
The St. Louis Rams did not select a wide receiver with any of their 12 selections in this year's draft, and head coach Jeff Fisher said they are happy and confident with the group of young receivers they have on their roster. St. Louis ranked 29th in the league in receiving yards last year, 26th in yards per catch and were tied for 20th in receiving touchdowns. WR Tavon Austin came on strong late in his rookie year, and WRs Chris Givens and Brian Quick are expected to do more in their third seasons with QB Sam Bradford coming off an injury. WR Stedman Bailey will miss the first four games of the season due to a suspension, but the team also took a chance on WR Kenny Britt.
Fantasy Tip: Austin should be primed to take the next step in his sophomore season. One of the big reasons why the Rams' offense sputtered so much over the course of the season was because Bradford wasn't around. With a healthy Bradford, all of St. Louis' aerial weapons should benefit.
Thu, 05 Jun 2014 19:38:13 -0700
St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt was involved in a scuffle at practice Thursday, June 5. He also had a couple of nice catches.

Mon, 31 Mar 2014 16:25:22 -0700
The St. Louis Rams signed free-agent WR Kenny Britt (Titans) to a one-year, $1.4 million deal Monday, March 31, according to a source. The deal could wind up being worth as much as $2.9 million. Britt will receive $550,000 in guarantees.
Fantasy Tip: Britt has a chance to start anew, and a reunion with coach Jeff Fisher in a new environment could rejuvenate the struggling wideout. If Britt can eliminate dropped passes and endear himself in this offense, he could be a surprise as a WR3 or 4 opposite Tavon Austin. He won't be given the job outright, though; he'll have to compete for a starting spot with Austin Pettis and Chris Givens.
Sun, 30 Mar 2014 20:59:49 -0700
Free-agent WR Kenny Britt (Titans) recently said he may meet with the Carolina Panthers, but no visit has been scheduled at this time.
