Arizona Diamondbacks OF A.J. Pollock (hand) sustained a fracture in his right hand Saturday, May 31, when he was hit by a pitch. He'll be placed on the disabled list Sunday, June 1, and should miss significant time. The club is still determining whether surgery will be necessary.
Fantasy Tip: It's a big blow to a bat who was raking, as well as his owners. This is an unfortunate way to clear up playing time for Mark Trumbo's (foot) imminent return. Cody Ross and Gerardo Parra should be nearly locked into the lineup, but someone like Alfredo Marte could chip in, as well, for NL-only purposes.
