Rockies | Nolan Arenado to be re-evaluated next week

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado (finger) won't be re-evaluated until the team returns home from their road trip June 19. The team could have him sent out on a minor league rehab assignment if X-rays show that his finger has been healed. "I think it's healing great," said Arenado. "It's feeling better, I'm starting to move it a little bit and it doesn't hurt. There's no pain anymore." Arenado has been running, lifting, throwing and doing agility drills, as well as top-hand hitting drills.

Fantasy Tip: It could be another week or two before Arenado is close to returning to the team, assuming he doesn't have any setbacks. Be patient.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado will not require surgery for broken finger

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado (finger) visited doctors at the Cleveland Clinic and they confirmed the diagnosis of team physicians that he will not need surgery. The plan is to allow Arenado's finger to heal on its own and there is no timetable for his return.
